  1. Damn, is THAT ever true. Wow, can't say enough about this year, but it's pretty damn good so far. Last night was an invite to a Faxon afterparty at a place called Las Vegas Gunfights. We get down there, and it's a co-party with P80. Needless to say, there were VERY interesting conversations, and hung out with some interesting people. @MikedaddyH gets his wish, for sure - hung out with this guy for an hour, he DOES live very near me, and he's been wanting to get into distance shooting. I assured him that he's in good hands, and we'll be shooting soon. You will see him ^^^ at our future shoots, also. Hank Strange and American Gun Chic are completely awesome, too. Hank stopped by the booth today and talked for awhile, and AGC was at the party last night as well as being at the booth today. Rock on. I got in yesterday morning and tracked down Rob as soon as I got parked. I didn't even check into my own hotel last night - We stayed out, I missed check-in time, so I just slept with Rob. No, really, I slept with Rob. I had to FINALLY check in today, and the rest of the guys are out at another party or two - they had to decide which one to go to, and I think they were talking about going to both... I know there will be stories about one of them, for sure. Last but not least - this guy is incredible! One of the party invites for tonight came from him. Not only is he cool as hell - his wife is WAY COOL! Just great people...
  2. One of them escaped...
  3. Any updates to this beast, man? Curious to see how this barrel does after it's got a few down the pipe.
  4. Yep, what he said. If it has cycling issues, we can fix those. Depending on the stats on it, I've got 3 fixes right off the bat.
  5. NICE, BROTHER!!! I think it goes well with the decor...
  6. You have the Diamondback DB-10. I told you right off the bat that it was Matrix sets, but I was being polite about it.
  7. Oh, I know, brother. They're invaluable in South Korea, not looking at South Korea.... I made a call every morning down to them, based on predicted weather, telling them what sensor package to fly that day.
  8. That's why I'll keep my .260 Rem, right there... It's already proven, 20years ago and more, but "back in the day" it was only for the "recoil-sensitive" shooters... Look at it now... Little more case capacity over 6.5CM, little more velocity over 6.5CM, and a little more accuracy over 6.5CM... Man, are they pissed over THAT!...

Get the 7 or 8-qt ovals, brother. Don't go less. Go big or go home. When they make a bigger one, I'll get that bitch, too. I'll feed an Army, well...

You crockpot fuckers are about to get me going.
  11. Yes, 20" WC barrel, Armalite rifle gas length, shooting 147gr Hornady ELD-M projos with RL-22 powder and CCI 200 primers through Hornady 308 Match brass, resized down to .260 and necks turned down. It's around 0.5 MOA, consistently. Fucking laser beam. It's the most ridiculous distance gun I own, even over the 300 Win Mag bolt gun.
  12. 4350 was a powder that almost disappeared before the 6.5C came about, and got super-popular several years ago, but it was used by seasoned .260 Rem shooters for 20 years (that's how long the .260 Rem has been around). RL-17 is a new powder, that was specifically developed for these 6.5mm cartridges. It's supposed to be the absolute SHEEEIIIIT for them.
  13. Hugs and kisses. Sweet dreams, brother. ?
  14. ToolCraft makes the Aero BCGs. I kid you not. Not even a little. Truth.
  15. It's NEVER safe, brother. Something is always waiting to get you. At any rate, it's 58 here. Come on down, in your shorts and t-shirt... I'm not seeing much from this Super Blood Moon yet. It's pretty disappointing here, and I'm waiting up for it.
  16. Both those powders are gonna be excellent for that 6.5C.
  17. ...^^^^ this. And, the ASAP Plate was made for the AR15-sized lower receiver. If that's your end-goal, you need something like this -click it... https://dsgarms.com/dsg-4201-0029
  18. I'm just sitting here waiting for this shiit to get serious...
  19. MagPul doesn't make anything like that, man, in your pic. So it wasn't a MagPul part, for sure. With that pic you posted, I don't see any loops on it, either, from that steel body. MagPul DOES make an ASAP Plate, though - it's this: That is definitely NOT what you have, though... not from that pic you posted...
  20. It's done, folks. DONE. Pete and I decided. The barrel length on the group buy needs to be 16" barrels, and anything else is just crazy.
  21. I'll wonder outside - it's earlier for me right now. Super Blood Moon and all... EDIT - I have a piece of it right now, but not much else, over here in the AZ sky. When I hear about a Blood Moon - I wanna see Blood dripping off the damn Moon... anything else is hype, and a rip-off. Once we have Blood dripping off the Moon, during a Blood Moon, I'm locking and loading everything I own. Y'all are welcome to get here as quick as you can, too. I need people to man the perimeter, and run the Range Cards. Just do what the Range Card in front of you says, and we're good. Here's what I've got:
  22. 16", from this beast. I see no reason to go more, for the purpose of the round, and no reason to get into NFA shiit by going less. With this much power coming out of it, for the purpose of breaking animals with a quickness, we won't need more than 16" barrels. Thoughts?... Am I crazy in that ASS-umption of mine?... I wanna SMASH a coyote with one of these things. Into pieces...
  23. Chainsaw, can we please re-visit this question I asked of you, with an answer now?...
  24. Chainsaw got hosed by his vendor.
