  1. WHACK! "Let's go find him..."
  2. I know that sight well - they make beautiful, ACCURATE barrels. Well done, brother.
  3. ^^^ I wish we had a dik-sukin' emoji... I might have to find my own...
  4. I'll get on this on Saturday - I love recipes that I can bulk-make on the weekend. I tupperware that stuff in the fridge, and it's work-lunch for the whole week.
  5. My plan is WORKING!...
  6. ^^^ That opened up NICELY! That's at least an inch across those petals?...

You've got WAY MORE tech and functionality built into this little beast, than any other shot timer out there - this is cool watching this all progress!!!
  8. Not from what we've seen here so far, and that would hardly be possible, and still run with Lancers, MagPul mags, etc... Hardly any manufacturer makes a proprietary mag catch. Hell, hardly any manufacturer makes a real .308AR mag catch - they just use AR15 parts for that.
  9. You can use any mag catch - you just don't thread the AR15 mag catch into the button as far.
  10. If she brings her man down here, it'll be a RIOT! The guy is hilarious!!! If we planned the moonphase correctly, and she could pull off the 450-yardnight shoot WITHOUT any other illum, it would be a legendary vid for her. We pulled that off 2 years ago. Last year, it was rough.
  11. I noticed that you were "creating a topic" in this section, and I've been waiting to see what is was... It was worth waiting on...
  12. The way this thread turned out reminds me of something my buddy posted...
  13. Oh, they did. They didn't drop specs, or publish a TDP like with the M16/M4, but they adopted a platform in the KAC systems, SR-25 first, then with the M110. Individual manufacturers just don't care. They think they have the "newer, better" and it doesn't work, too many times. That leaves us figuring out what they did, and making them run like they're supposed to...
  14. Here's the pics from the Full30 thread: https://forum.full30.com/t/shot-2019-condition-red-s-zero-dark-fifty-a-10lb-ar-firing-subsonic-50-bmg-bullets/9618/4
  15. 1:02:00 hits it.
  16. That's way Mo' Bettah than it being short. When you shorted up the buffer weight, and shorted up the buffer spring rate or length, and shorted up the gas port size a little, and shorten up the gas tube a lil bit - you have a gun that doesn't work. I don't know why the manufacturers can't figure this out...
  17. So, "the barrel that doesn't exist yet" showed up today. SPR profile 16" Grendel barrel from BA, and it's every bit as nice as the other Mk12 profile barrels I'm got from them. I had the lower, buttstock, VLTOR A5SR extension, and rifle spring sitting here from stock. I needed a few parts from DSG Arms to make a lower-minus-trigger, including a VLTOR A5-H2 buffer, so I ordered that stuff up once I had confirmation from BA that the barrel was real. I put the lower together and tossed a stock mil-spec trigger in it for now, until I can get a LaRue in it. BA pinned the gas block on there for me, which was a surprise - I like that. While I was at work today, I thought about something - I have a 16" 300BLK rifle that I built up with a Precision Reflex FDE Gen III rail along time ago, just because. I've never like the setup, as a whole, it just never went all the way to a Mk12, and I never did anything with it after that... Shot well, but oh well. YES! I ripped it down! I'll put a lightweight ALG 15" rail on that 300BLK, and I'll like it alot more like that. I'll have a "spare" PRI folding front sight until I can "Mk12 Mod 0" something in the future - but that's how I got here in the first place - parts stored. I put that damn Ruger GSR flash hider on there for now, so I don't ding the barrel threads. The Allen Engineering hardware will be on this when I get it all wrapped up. Here it is with the Mod 1: I don't have the BCG or a charging handle, and there's ALOT of expensive PRI parts that I need to finish this, and that's gonna take MUCH time. In the meantime, if I raid a BCG and CH from a Grendel, and maybe raid an optic from a Grendel, I can shoot it next weekend and see how it does...
  18. For $87, you can't go wrong. If you hate it, I'll give you $87 for it, and a few bucks more for shipping (first to you, then to me). So, you'll be out not even a penny.

  20. HAHA! This thread is only a few hours old, and it's already delivering!... Welcome.
  21. Haven't seen it before this, but it makes sense. I knew it was only a matter of time, after their REC 7.
  22. We'll get it sorted out, Phil.
  23. Big update coming for this one tomorrow night, but until then - here's a fantastic video on the Mk12 Mod 0 and Mod H history: https://www.full30.com/watch/MDEzMTAy/technical-review-and-history-of-the-mk12-modo-and-modh Here's the one he did for the Mod 1: https://www.full30.com/watch/MDEzMDAx/mk12-mod1-rifle-history-and-technical-review @Robert@FULL30, I'm glad you've got that guy on Full30 - he's good!
  24. Yep! I try to set the eyepiece up just about at the end of the receiver - that's a good start, and you can tweak it from there if the eye relief is a little funky. I already know the eye relief on that particular scope, though. ?
