  1. These bike-handling skills are insane.
  2. In little guns, little changes make huge differences. In bigger guns, little changes don't matter that much. If you can pay attention - and work over some .22LR - that just makes you better when you're shooting bigger guns. That's why .22s are the ultimate training rifle. I know I've said it before, but ... If you can solve a 40gr .22LR wind drift problem at 200 yards - that little plinking projectile will drift exactly as much as a 168gr .308 projectile at 600 yards - in the same wind...
  3. The source of this info is derived from Dr. John Lott. Keep that in mind.
  4. On paper, everyone can look at the times and the hits required, and think to themselves, "That's not hard, looks easy..." Until it's time to do it. It's pass/fail, if you're looking for the Rifleman Qual. You make it, or you don't. And there's a WHOLE LOT of people that don't make it. Very few actually qualify. You never really "fail" an Appleseed, because it just makes you a better shooter. Everybody takes something away, something to work on. You learn every time you go to one. Fine work, brother. It's always easy - until it's not...
  5. She's hot all over, brother...
  6. Here's a really good explanation of how stupid they are getting with this...

I'm gonna fire that up this week, in the dutch oven. BADASS!!!

Is that what this is, below? You gotta give that one up, brother, and spill the details on what that thing is/does. I need to make that one...
  9. Don't be worried, AL. Just lay back and let it happen...
  10. I can't wait for this thing. It needs chrono-speeded, then a chart made, then dial it for the 450 and hit it. That's the final goal. @Armed Eye Doc, you have the 20", right? What ammo are you running in it?
  11. Ron White. Before tonight, I never heard of Lauren Compton - but she's pretty badass! Here's her interview with Ron White...
  12. That sounds pretty close to Appleseed standards, on the AQT (Appleseed Qual Target), but you didn't list the simulated distances. That's important, and makes it harder. It's a 25-yard scaled target, to simulate the distances below. You shoot it at 25 yards, but the targets get pretty tiny... First-time Rifleman qual isn't easy to do, at all. Very well done, brother.
  13. That's some awesome work, right there.
  14. Awesome update, man - I'll love to see this one running. It's some very well-built hardware. When it's running like a Singer sewing machine, you'll have to get the full parts list details in here. I'm sure this one will come up again in the future.
  15. Well, it's only about "whatever sticks", right? Here's their newest wish...
  16. You know that was funny...
  17. That's straight bullshiit. Remember the pics from a few years ago, where we showed @jrtmasp running a fullsized AR-10, getting after it? Yeah, that giant heavy 14lb gun looked like someone's miniature Mk18 SBR in his stance... You're the same way...
  18. Won't matter. Not at all. Once all these 4 cases (of their over-reach) get through the system, they're gonna be emasculated. The 4 cases in the pipes right now will neuter them forever, as far as the shiit they're trying to do now. They're about to be put in their place. Forever.
  19. Gave it to who? Why aren't you building your own gun? That mag release should be fine in the Large Frame AR, and if someone is telling you "it's too short." ... they shouldn't be building your gun. Not at all.
  20. #1. There is no specification that any Large Frame AR manufacturer must follow - unlike AR15s. AR15s havae the M16/M4 TDP to follow, which are .gov specifications, so most AR15 manufacturers rarely fuk it up. There's a pattern for them to follow. Not so with Large Frame ARs. Different manufacturers can do whatever they want, when they want, make any spec that they feel is proper - and sell their own guns. #2. There are 2 distinct gas systems. AR15 gas systems, and Armalite AR-10 gas systems. There's a few major differences between the two systems, and the aftermarket has muddied those waters. The gas tubes are different lengths, between those two systems. The aftermarket though it would be good to "make and in-between" which works like shiit. Their (aftermarket) mentality is - if the gas tubes are a different length, let's just drill the barrel gas port in-between those standards, and it won't matter what gas tube the customer gets..." And nothing could be further from the truth. Those "engineers" need fired, and they need to be moving into a cheaper apartment soon. They're idiots. So, that's it, in a nutshell.
  21. No shiit, once again. They're just tossing it all up there, putting their dicks on the chopping block, just to see if they can get away with it. If you ever sold a gun, you're a "GUN DEALER..." Check it:
  22. I just love the combination of these two guys - they REALLY bring out the information, very well presented. In short - they CRUSH IT!!! Another perspective on this mess...
  23. Even for the paws that you have...
  24. You need a bigger firehose... info for your friend...
