Those little bastards aren't on sale anywhere, brother. They approach about a buck a round, no matter where you look. Best deal I found was my Gun Pusher, $15 for the box o' 20, on the birdshot. 00 Buck and the slugs are at, or slightly over, a buck a round. I lit mine up today, for the first time. Zero issues. I didn't expect any issues with it, but it does deliver.

I only run the 4-40s when a manufacturer has already tapped that hole. If I have to tap them myself, I do it at 6-32. Easier to to, with the larger diameter and coarser thread. Some 4-40 setups I even cut right out of there and go straight for 6-32, anyway. Aero gets it right, but the threading from some other manufacturers is jacked. So, it goes, and 6-32 replaces it.

I don't have an adjustable gas block on any AR I own, and I've got a few. Adjustable gas blocks are the love-child of the 3-gun competitors, to tune recoil to exactly what they want for their pet competition load. They are not necessary in the least to the average person, unless that rifle is making you money in competitions. They might make a small improvement, but it's not gonna be a game-changer. My $0.02.

M4 feedramp cuts are going to appear alot larger and sharper on a 308 vs. the typically-seen 5.56 cuts. Just the nature of the beast, being 30% larger and all. If they look kinda like this, then fear not. Just run it. First 2 pics are a Ballistic Advantage 5.56 SPR barrel, next 2 pics are Armalite AR-10 barrel.

Gotta be isolated - never seen a report like this before, about a Faxon barrel. They won't sweat you over it, either - they know their business, and will take care of you. Good work on tracking everything down, boot. One thing I was gonna say, prior to the latest round of testing on your part - the gas port diameter in the gas block is 0.125". If you have a perfectly good barrel, and the gas port is slightly off... slightly... you can align the gas block, with it's giant 0.125" opening, get it perfectly straight, and still fully cover that slightly off gas port in the barrel. Not the case here, something is off with the barrel. You'll get taken care of, for sure.

Had some driver's side power seat controls in a '96 Mustang stop working - because the factory radio amplifier shiit itself... Go figure that they'd route power seat controls through a damn radio amplifier... Fucking Ford... What was I to do? I crashed that piece of shiit and then stepped away...

Depends on how they wired it, factory-speaking, of course. Take my Nissan for example. 5-volt references everywhere, for sensors. My damn power windows stopped working - only driver's side. Other side worked fine. Tracked it down to a combination of a blown out relay and the driver's side control panel in the armrest (the actual button that controls the window). All that shiit routes THROUGH the keyfob control box, in which the keyfob hasn't worked in years... Replaced the relay, replaced the $122 fucking armrest switch assembly, and my windows work again. My keyfob still doesn't do shiit... You can't base "common electrical logic" on how modern automotive engineers design shiit...
