Strike Industries makes a section of pic rail with a QD socket in it, and it fits keymod AND Mlok rails. It's called "The Link." I put one on the Pig Puncher, and it's an impressive design. I likey. https://www.strikeindustries.com/shop/index.php/link-rail-section-7-slots-qd-featured-patent-pending.html

I only load Hornady 150gr FMJBTs for this caliber, and they're going between 1800~1900 fps. They're far from subsonic. I don't know how far down you'd have to load to get those projos under 1100 fps, but that would have to be a pretty low charge. I'd look at the load your making before I'd try to make that load work by drilling your gas port. a 150 grain projectile is not the ideal item to try to make subsonic in this caliber. Go for a 200~220gr projectile, if subsonic is your thing. You'll have ALOT better luck.

Looks like it's gone. I shoulda saved it.

New retail is $500-ish for the sight, and about another $130 for the mount, if someone bought them separately. Things never go for retail in this industry/sport, when you can find deals almost anywhere if you look. I've seen $350~$400 for the sight, and $75~$100 for the mount. That's a good sight, that's for sure.

If it was NATO military ammunition, it is water-PROOFED to a depth of 250 feet. Learned that in a past life.
-
This is not gonna work out well for me. I'm not buying one - I'm gonna build my own. You fuckers keep "inciting the riot" on it, too... This is bullshiit...
-
This will get snatched up and run through the oil tester device from hell. I'll let you guys know how it compares.

That thing living in an ARMS mount?...
-
We'll get him for a visit this fall - let's see if we can kidnap him and keep him!!!! I figure that's WAY EASIER than trying to coerce him into moving over here...
-
Knock the lower corner off the bolt catch - it's what is binding. Lower corner, furthest from the pin hole location. See the square corners on these Armalite pieces here?: You'll need to knock that 90* corner off, and make it into something like this here:

If you look closely - easiest to see on stainless barrels - they all leak until they carbon-seal. The carbon fouling closes everything up with a hundred-ish rounds, and they won't leak again unless you break those parts down and clean/scrub them out. The slip-fit gas block (and they all are, unless they're pounded into position) leaves no other way around that issue.

I love me some Mark LaRue. You just cannot beat that man's morals. That is one fine, upstanding human being. I think I'm gonna go order my scope mount now, just because of that.

Might need to snatch up a billet 5.56 upper receiver for the 16" 300BLK gun. It's got the ambi lower, and I always put off getting the matching upper. Fuk me.

You have MANY supporters, you stubborn jackass... And since when in the shiit did that drive take you 30 hours?!!? It didn't! I'm calling BS on that one - Matt was secretly texting me... "He WON'T STOP. I can't believe a tank of gas LASTS THIS LONG!..." That's the first damn thing that went through my twisted brain, too!...
-
I've pulled some maps, just so there's no confusion here, on the distance... I made sure to get enough of the US to show how far MD is to AZ, and the New Zealand distance... Ironically, the flight time is a little less than the drive time - if you accept that as a challenge, Ron... Multiply kilometers by 0.6 to come up with the rough estimate in miles...
-
This just got more awesome... HEY RON!!! @Rsquared - I don't want to hear ANYMORE SHIIT-TALKING FROM YOU about some pansy-assed "longest travel" to this shoot...
-
This would honestly be THE best, fastest way to find that information out - pick up the phone and call a real human. Here's the info to do that:

@308kiwi, get in here, man...

I'm gonna send you a message, man.

This pretty well explains it: https://kitup.military.com/2017/08/sig-sauer-instructions-p320-voluntary-upgrades.html?ESRC=army-a_170822.nl read it, SIG 320 owners... and then...

Still need to do the scope, scope mount, Harris bipod setup with mount, and the Allen Engineering suppressor brake and collar - then it will be done. Baby steps, baby steps...

We are making progress - the LaRue 13.2 rail was ordered 26 June. After 3 weeks, I called and checked on the status. Nothing but honestly from them. They gave me the production schedule of the different lengths, when it would start, and they told me that based on the order numbers, the 13.2s were not even scheduled yet - but it should be at the end of that 4~6 week backorder that they informed me about. So, last week, I called just to check. I'd put it out of my mind, honestly. "Hey guys, those 13.2s, how we looking? Here's my order number..." They were completely honest again - some were in production, but all current production was going to complete rifle builds - but something should free up, with rifle builds getting caught up in a week or two. I'm cool with it, I have time. I just need to get this rifle done before you ratbastards show up this fall. Out of curiosity, I asked if there were any 12.0s available, because I can switch it out for a 12, then the guy says, "Let me check..." and puts me on hold. After he came back he says, "the gun room has a bunch of 12s for builds, and I can take one..." I say no way, I don't need you stopping someone else's gun build just to get me a rail... He says, "Right now it looks like the 12-builds are caught up, and the gun room is stacking these up." Switch my order, brother, I love it... Now, the reason I quoted you, brother - I've never owned a LaRue rail before - but that thing mounts up JUST LIKE a PRI rail - index pins and all. But it goes one step further, with the anti-rotation tab, which locks it to the upper, the backing plate inside, and the rail lock ring. Once you get it all together, just like you get a PRI rail together, that one tab and two bolts locks that shiit down TIGHT. It'll never move. Honestly, I'm very, very impressed with it, mostly on how much it's like a PRI, with that added benefit of locking it down. Once you see it... I'm just sayin'... Here's where we are now, and the MBUS offsets are on the way.

When I read the title of this thread, before even opening the thread, that's the FIRST thing that went through my mind, brother...
