  1. Didn't think that at all, brother, not at all.
  2. The email order showed the knife, with confirmation emails, yada yada yada. The packing slip showed the .204 Ruger brass, right on top of the package of brass... Been looking over their online reviews - this kinda shiit is common from them. Shoulda looked them up beforehand, but this is fun.
  3. 1) YES 2) There are zero user-safeties on this pistol. There's no trigger safety, there's no grip safety, there's no thumb safety. That's the difference between it and other pistols... The physical weight of that trigger assembly is causing this malfunction. Not the pull weight - how much that trigger weighs. Mass in motion... Move to a lighter trigger, and it's solved, when dropped in this manner - according to the tests thus far.
  4. That's possible, if it's only the center of the buffer face that's raised - can't be a cutout for the pin, since the buffer rotates.
  5. The real question is.... If it fires without a finger on the trigger, pulling that trigger rearward, is it safe? Hell no, I don't care who the manufacturer is. I don't care what other "drop test standards" it already passed, either. Who would accept ANY firearms that fires, when there's not even a hand on it?...
  6. Yep, it's caused from locating the buffer retainer pin hole too far rearward - doesn't take much. Just noticed that my AR45 is chewing up the buffer, due to this. Yes, my expensive, machined billet, CNC Guns grease-gun mag 45 lower... Not happy. Can't put a CWS in a pistol-caliber bolt carrier, either... Going to have to machine something up for it. It still happens, brother. I wonder how many people catch it, and how many know it's "definitely not right."
  7. Shiiiiiit, if we're talking covers, then Leo is pretty damn good. Hell, he can make some Adele sound great!!! Warning - you can waste HOURS watching his stuff...
  8. What kind of brass did they ship him?... Manufacturer and caliber?... Mine was Hornady .204 Ruger brass... Just curious if they shipped the same shiit to him. Let me know when they return his money. I'm not comfortable sending these assclowns the brass UNTIL they return my money...
  9. A heavy buffer can't add 0.080" to the length of your carrier, and prevent this from happening. The CWS solves this issue.
  10. The Mod 3 would go right through your thorax, then...
  11. The MechArmor is far superior to the BCM, in this situation (scoped, magnified optics). I've got more than 15 BCM charging handles in various ARs, so that MechArmor vote of confidence is not given lightly, or with no experience between the two brands.
  12. Seems like a scam. The listing wasn't a "mistake," - they just listed something theey couldn't sell, and shipped out some bullshiit to people. I ain't takin' it. GOt an email from them today. Wednesday, 10:11am: Tom-Ass, Thanks for your email. I want to apologize on behalf of Universal Mania for the mix up. The item is in fact a listing error and the inventory needed to fulfill this order is inaccurate. I have sent you a return label to have the incorrect item shipped back. One returned you will be refunded. Once again we do apologize this is in fact a listing error & we greatly appreciate you shopping with us. Warm Regards, Alexus So, once I get the return label in my hands, the fun will begin.
  13. Ed, if it comes to it, and you "need or want" to let that rail go, I'd be in for it.
  14. $44.49 in that link you posted, brother. I took the chance. .204 Ruger brass showed up instead. We'll see what they do. My email to them: Monday, 10:12pm: Hey guys, Package arrived today just fine, but there is a problem. Some Hornady .204 Ruger brass was shipped, and no Ontario Knife Company RAT knife. Tell me how you want to proceed. Thanks, Tom-Ass They took their time to email be back, but at least they did: Tuesday, 3:31pm: Your request (8985) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff. To add additional comments, reply to this email. Well, they offered, so I felt obliged... Tuesday, 8:43pm: Nothing to review, really, in my opinion. I ordered a specific knife. You sent me reloading brass. Please resolve this quickly. Tom-Ass They can have another couple days of excuses, then it's Game On.
  15. Ontario RAT knife came in today! Quick shipping and great info along the way. We'll see how they handle sending me some new unprimed Hornady .204 Ruger brass instead of the knife I ordered, though...
  16. All their stuff is made per-model, and does just bolt right in.
  17. Tuffy has been making them for decades, man. Put their glovebox and center console in my Jeep in the late 1990's. They've WAY expanded since then. http://www.tuffyproducts.com/
  18. That's what Freedom looks like, right there - that's awesome work, brother.
  19. I usually transport mine like this. The hold-down is extra, and the rental price is QUITE expensive!!!
  20. You have them on right now, don't you?...
  21. Not really. Used to plan in the KD range once a year, full day at 600 yards, after a quick 200/400 warmup. This was the final day of training in a "Range Week" packed full of nothing but fundamentals. Iron sights only. "We stay out here on the range until everyone can meet the standard." They got it - not all were as quick as some, but it's the training that goes into it prior to, that makes it happen. Standard issue M4A1 Carbines.
  22. If you have the ability, move that guy, brother...
  23. Just wait 'til we meet up. I'll spill it all. It's been a shiit-show. This time, there is nothing to bitch about from the work-aspect. Work is fuckin' great, really. Now it's everything else...
  24. Fuckers...
  25. Dan, you a$shole...
