  1. I don't understand the rationale of building another upper, only. At that point, you have 1.5 rifles. Spend the money on another lower, and you have 2 rifles. You and a friend can shoot 2 rifles - you and a friend cannot shoot 1.5 rifles at the same time...
  2. HAHA! Fukcers...
  3. Lancers. They are superior. PMAGs don't suck, are good, and hollowpoints (OTMs) have nothing to do with it. Lancers are just better magazines. Post what you've heard about "plastic mags fearing hollowpoints." Please be more specific, on that topic. EDIT - OP, check this thread:
  4. The APA Fat Bastard. Not a knockoff, the real deal, Fat Bastard. Knockoffs of it are out there, so don't settle for less. Works wonders on a 300 Win Mag, so it's gonna do it for you on a .308 Win round. Mark my words, against whatever you're looking at, Ed... https://www.americanprecisionarms.com/products-page/muzzlebrakes/gen-ii-fat-bastard/
  5. He's moving over here, with me. Like you should, brother.
  6. Sweet Mary, Mother of Jesus... I remember arguing about M4 versus M4A1 to idiots on this very board about 4-ish years ago. Idiots said all M4s were the same, I argued the point that SOF was the only contingent with M4A1-spec'd carbines, and it turned into a shitstorm here. ...This is now news in 2016 - from a "study" in fukking 2006?! - and they're FINALLY progressing with the fukking upgrades?! Gotta be kidding me. Some infantry units got the heavy barrel and other small schit years ago, the KAC rail, etc.. Those weren't M4A1s, though. I feel vindicated, now, after having my dick kicked in about "arguing with people just to start something..."
  7. Quit going to public ranges years ago, and shoot in the desert, with known or vouched-for guests of known people. Been running some pretty cool local run-n-gun shoots, lately. Everyone was a badass until I showed up with the shot-timer. Lmao... Next up, soon, is the summertime night, long-distance shoot. MikeDaddy, holla at me for that one.
  8. This is excellent. I'm just sayin'. I wish this was the old days, and I wish I'd seen it sooner - in the old days. Wow!!!
  9. You, brother, are my hero. One day, I will fish with you. Oh, and we'll shoot, too!
  10. I'm three of those guys, by myself. But, MikeDaddy is the other four... LMFAO!
  11. 'Bout damn time the 3-letter agency got their sheit together on this. Their main concern was that the end of the "gas port" was threaded, and capped with an allen bolt. User could theoretically remove that allen bolt, chamber a live round, and shoot it from a "short barrelled rifle" afterwards... because the "barrel" was so short - and measured to the first hole on the "gas port," aka barrel... Well, fuk, if you don't permanently affix your longer-than-normal flash suppressor to your 14.5" barrelled carbine, then you've created another SBR. IF you permanently attach your longer-than-normal flash suppressor to your 14.5" barrelled carbine, bring it to 16" minimum length, it's not an SBR... So, in theory, if you couldn't remove that allen bolt from your Can Cannon "gas port," and it was permanently welded to the "gas port," then you'll never be able to shoot a live round through the fukcing thing, whether it could chamber one or not. I welded mine. Let them show me it will be adapted to fire a live round after that... I'm still sending mine in for the new one.
  12. Fuckers are trying to use Jack Daniels to draw me out. Dumbasses. I'm a high-quality Tequila guy! Lmao!
  13. Send me the Elft trigger, brother, and I'll tune it up to running conditions and ship it right back to you.
  14. In that pic, those are all 3/8" drive bits, brother. They're hefty...
  15. The bonus of buying the real tools is this - you fuk one up, hand your busted shiit to your tool guy and he'll warranty it out and give you a new one. Buy once, cry once...
  16. My set came off the Matco tool truck - don't buy cheap extractors... if you do, you'll buy more cheap extractors to try to remove your broken cheap extractors that snapped off, and then again... it never ends. Don't fuk around with extractors. Or do, and come back in here and tell me your story later... This is the Matco SEXS10 set - sex in an S10... Shepp can relate... lmfao... Search it online for the best price, if the tool truck doesn't provide you the added convenience of stopping by at work: https://www.google.com/#q=matco+sexs10
  17. This brake works VERY well! For a brake. I didn't warn Mike at ALL before I fired from the table, but I should have. He was east of me by about 4 feet, and he ate some concussion... lmao... I bought 2 because they were cheap, and didn't expect much from it, being a super-cheap 2-chamber brake, but DAMN does it work well... the first one went straight on the 16" .308, and the 2nd one got bored to .338". Yet to be tested, on the bored version, but it'll work fine on that one. Get 'em while they're cheap, men. I'm just sayin'...
  18. The torx bit will work, but it rips up the torx bit - and when you need that thing later, it's not-quite-right to do it's job. Works great to rip out a stripped allen bolt, though. What you really need are these little hookers, right here - they'll yank out stripped allens, stripped torx heads, stripped internal 12-point heads, etc. They shred shiit...
  19. 175 SMKs have a great reputation on-target, downrange. Projectiles don't "disintegrate" mid-flight unless they're fired from a barrel that has too much twist, for too light of a projectile. They just DON'T. Best example I can give you is shooting a 36-gr 5.56 varmint load from a 1:7 twist 5.56 barrel - it'll disintegrate shortly after barrel-exit. Heavy projectiles don't disintegrate - they won't stabilize if the twist is too shallow - and they'll keyhole, You need to search out more on projectile weights vs. twist rate, before you try to speak on this subject with any authority - because you don't know what you're talking/posting about...
  20. There's some kind of bullshitt on "number of replys per day" going on. I hope that gets un-fucked. It's bullshiit.
  21. Why would you suspect that? Interested in your rationale on that one.
  22. Those are Armalite AR-10 numbers, and they're slightly off the real numbers - where did you get those numbers from? And, is your recoil system complete, 100% Armalite AR-10 Carbine recoil system parts? 7.75" internal depth of the receiver extension is off. #5 shows that you are NOT pushing the buffer off the retainer when the upper is closed on the lower. Classic symptom, and exactly what happens, when this does not occur.
  23. Hell, I don't either - I was just asking a question, based on what you posted. No pissing match here, not in the least - just want to make sure the information is accurate. You stated is made no difference, so I want to know the config on it. With just the shell, and zero inserts, you'll never feel much of a difference. Steel insert, a little difference, tungsten insert, bigger difference. I only want to know the config of you Tubb CWS, since you felt no difference, with or without. No spitting match whatsoever, man...
  24. Only YOU are the answer to that one...
  25. What information did you find out?... It's really seeming like you're holding us accountable for the information that YOU can't find from DPMS... EDIT - and you haven't called them yet...
