Picked this up for under a bill. Person didnt know if it worked. 1939 Winchester Model 24 12ga. Serial number is in the low 300's How u see it is how I got it. Great workhorse condition. Did a functions check and let off 100 rnds at the 5 stand.pulled it appart and cleaned, oiled and lubed. Very happy with it and aint gonna do a thing but use it. Was missing buttpad so I used a spare leather one I had laying around.

Yeah I noticed that but it unlocks to the right only and sucker locks up tight and not a loose joint or gap on it. Has obvious wear from the left hand on the reliever. Not the most collectible or sought after Winchester so it will stay in the work column until its forced to be a wall hanger.
