KisanS41 Posted April 17, 2015 Report Posted April 17, 2015 (edited) Hey Guys, My name is KisanS41 and I am on the tail end of my AR-10 build. I have a Matrix Aerospace Corp Billet Upper and Lower receiver set. It's based off of the Ruger SR762, so it take Armalite AR-10 Parts and SR-25 patterns. I'm using Magpul LR20 PMags. The main reason why I joined this fourm page is that I have a few questions. The major thing that I'm missing a BCG and Optics. My main use for this gun is to be my DMR. I want a Nickel Boron bcg, and the only Armalite AR-10 BCG that I can find is their own BCG on the Armalite website which is not NiB. I was wondering if I could use the Aero Precision M5 NiB BCG, their own .308 BCG. It has Forward Serrations and my barrel(Mega Arms MATEN) is designed to work both with SR-25 and AR-10 BCG/Uppers. So please share your thoughts and comments. I will post my part list and some pictures. AngelDeVille Posted April 17, 2015 Report Posted April 17, 2015 The only thing you need to match is the bolt to the barrel pattern. The carrier is interchangeable. I'm not sure what pattern the Mega/Maten barrel is. For optics I went with a Primary Arms 4-14 with ACSS reticle, with Warne QD rings. I haven't torture tested it, but I'm super happy with it especially for the price. I have a Matrix set as well, and I love it. Nice build, I'd hate to carry it!

GTG in my book ! Yeah that's actually my Local Gun Shop that I go to regularly. I'm sad that their Lakewood WA closed down, but I don't mind going to the downtown store. They have their own .308 BCG, but I want one that has forward serrations.

Know owners cousins,went to school with them.
