Had some free time yesterday so I whipped up a new shooting bench and target stand for the deer camp.  I was tired of stapling targets to sticks and shooting off the tailgate or off the bed rails.  Besides I blew up the stand we had out there last year with tannerite so I felt obligated to build a new one anyhow.  Found the plans for the bench online so it isn't an original design but I think it came out nice.  Still need to sheet the stand with some cardboard and I may build a small lean to roof on it to keep some moisture off it so the cardboard will last a little longer between changes in the weather.

Coroplast works better than cardboard, water won't hurt it at all, and you can secure the paper targets to it with thumbtacks.  We switched to that stuff a few years ago for the Appleseed targets.

That is a well layed out set of plan's. Just thinking....a flower box type setup underneath filled with sand or dirt with a removeable board on top to set bipod legs into to eliminate bounce from hardsurface,,,,

Yes it is nice but I have found that if you sit to far to the outside of the "chair" the table seems to be a bit unstable and could flip fairly easily.  Im going to add a 2x4 across the ground across the bottom of the rear 4x4s that are close together for some added stability.
