Hhhmmm... I read that Remington had committed to starting to manufacture the ammo... but I guess that might take quite some time.

I am kinda shocked that the piston driven upper with nice fit and finish and a monolithic bcg is $300...

I honestly don't think I'd ever get a shot gun like that. in the article it says the shot gun has been one of the only weapons to stay tube fed. I think the reason for that is due to the fact that it's stayed a tool for hunting and busting thru brush for birds and othe game and the tube fed design keeps it from getting hung up.

I followed these guys on Facebook they build some sexy shot guns

My edit dissappeared...I tried to go to the manufacturer website and it is down. I'm guessing they went away and the uppers are being blown out cheap because they are useless. Might be a cool project if someone had cash to burn.  There doesn't seem to be any info on these newer than early 2014.

As far as fitment, we had a discussion on these last year. They say AR10  in the description, but the pics clearly showed a dpms  pattern cut.

Yeah, I was going to contact the company about the ar10/ sr25 deal, but it looks like they are out of business.

If the ammo was still going to be produced I would buy one. What a shame

The ammo used to be $3 a round. It is probably $1 a round now because it is getting blown out, and once it is gone it is gone.

Never, ever would I own one of those... I can't explain why I hate them so much, except that they remind me of the Mossberg 22lr Ar... and why make a shotgun that has nothing to do with an Ar look like an Ar? Hate them Hate them Hate them.

Now here is a shotgun that I can dig ;)

Light weight, can be dis assembled, isn't made to like like anything else for no reason, quality manufacturing...

And a price tag that I will never be able to afford :-/

A friend of mine picked up an Arsenal .410 in a trade recently. I've been trying to talk him into tricking it out to be a home defense gun. He's limited (California) to 10 rounds, but Federal 000 Buck has 4 pellets, which is more like 40 rounds loaded up, they just fly in volleys. A little fancy furniture, stripping all the extra weight and adding a top rail for a red dot..... it would be pretty sweet if it comes out reliable.
