As Sisco found above the bullet cost is usually between 25-30 cents, problem is availability is sporadic with most being pulled bullets. I have not worked with the Hornady or the Barnes but the MK 319 has been very accurate from all my 308AR's. Price wise the SST cost about the same but doesn't have the barrier blind aspect or the solid copper penetrator. The TTSX costs more for the bullet than a loaded MK319 round.

My advice, get a 1,000 rounds of MK319 when you see a good price.

What is the OACL of the loaded ammo?  I found and ordered the bullets from midway, and want to replicate the Federal load for SOST rounds to best of my ability.

Also, any information on the BC of this round?

Thanks in advance.

Ordered two boxes to test the FCC load in my rifle for accuracy and velocity (PWS Mk 216).  Based on initial performance data, will buy projectiles to reload to see if the performance and accuracy is repeatable with prepped LC brass and TAC or CFE223 powder.

Just finished a load ladder with TAC and Hornady 125 grain SST.  One nasty hole at 100 yards!  Going out Thursday with a chronograph to get velocity readings on this load for ballistic tables.
