Can't get the pic uploaded.....

But the pic shows my receipt for Perfecta 150gr SP 308 Win in 20 round boxes for $7/box.....can't even quite  put it together for that price.  (I figure that my time is worth $.10 per round.)  If my math works out correctly, $.35/round......

 

If nothing else, blasting ammo......

$7 a box? Perfecta 308 soft point? I've seen it at my local wallyworld stores but not at $7 a box - I'll check tomorrow to see what it's going for out here.

Almost worth pulling the softpoints out and replacing them with a more desirable projectile.

They did get ZQI in at $9,69, but I'll leave it there since its not shooting like it used to!

Anyone fired that perfecta stuff yet? I see they sale it for 308, 556, 9mm, 45, 40. Is it decent or crap?

I bought a box of the 9mm and loaded it into 2 mags I am pretty sure it will dump in 10 seconds per mag !

Not fired any yet, been too busy with house selling/buying to do much else.

But that situation has remedied itself, so I will be able to do a bit of shooting shortly again.

I've shot several hundred Perfecta 308 rounds, they are on the low side of the power factor, better suited to bolt guns. My Matrix build functions weak but fine, it doesn't have enough umph to run my Sig P716 unless I use the adverse setting.

I got 11 boxes of that stuff at my local wallyworld a couple weeks ago at 7.00 a box. I bought every box they had. It's not bad stuff. My PA10 shoots 2-3moa with it. No malfunctions at all with it. If I can find it again, I'll buy it up again. Great range blasting ammo, and I'd use it for hunting in a pinch.
