They won't keep your info

Had a really busy week. Sold a house, sold a truck, bought a new one, moved a bunch of stuff, and got involved in some natural resource politics in this state. Also working overtime on a fall fishing tournament I am running. Won't be on much for a while. Check in when I have time.

I truly didn't believe that they were destroying all the info they had anyway. Somewhere there is (at the VERY least) a copy of every purchase made for many previous decades.

Don't kid yourself, the nazi's had this figured out before WWII, and do think the libtards behind it all would not take notes on how to compile firearms purchase records, ammunition purchase records, parts/places that sell parts---and where/who these parts went to? Anyy good pencil pusher would be able to figure out how to follow the money trail for purchases, and it is much easier with electronic funds/records; but don't forget cash/check purchases still leave a mark in the books somehow-shipping addresses, deposits into some account, ect.

The only thing that they probably can't put together is a face to face type of purchase,  and then the buyer is going to be paying much higher than normal prices for any kinds of materials bought. Even buying through the mail can be tracked if they want to keep an eye in you.

That is why they want to close the "gun show loophole."  When possible, I prefer to find the private collections at gun shows and pay cash.  They are just fewer and further between.

You mean like photographing every piece of mail they handle?

WASHINGTON — The Postal Service on Friday confirmed that it takes a photograph of every letter and package mailed in the United States — about 160 billion pieces last year — and occasionally provides the photos to law enforcement agencies that request them as part of criminal cases.

Yep. The machine sorting the mail has to optically read the addresses. That data is stored. Same thing goes for every document you scan or photocopy on the copier at work. All of that data is within its internal hard drive and can be retrieved. Destroy hard drives whenever you trade in or sell a copier as all of the SSN's and important docs for all of your employees/clients and whatnot are there.

Package service delivery providers keep a record of each transaction, every box shipped !
