Thanks for all of the help wash, I am frustrated dang primary arms lol. I would keep the 18 inch barrel if I knew that wouldn't be too weird with a 12 inch handguard i will definitely call them for a return. I think they are out of the 16" ba  barrels too lol luck is not on my side

Wash I called them and they asked me to fill out a online form for a ra, hopefully they do me right. That's funny because that's the very one I was wanting to get lol. Also I was looking at the Odin works adjustable gas block any opinion on that?

Got all my parts tonight and they all seem to be the right parts this time lol. The dust cover pin is a little to long for the Jp barrel nu so I think I am going to grind it a little. I forgot the loctite so I will have to wait until tomorrow for the install lol.

Thanks unforgiven,  I got an optic for it finally. A Nikon p308 with Nikon ar mount. Cant wait to shoot it, it was way too tall for my bore sighter to line up with so I will have to use a really big target at first lol. I am feeling like I should bring it to a gunsmith first, since it is my first build.

Tony       take the upper and put it in the cradle......put you a dot or mark or piece of tape on something bout 20/30 yds away....hopefully you have a table and chair where the upper is?  So you look down the bore till you see the mark...then look up to the scope ...the crosshairs should be in the vicinity  of your mark where the bore is pointing....when you tighten down the mount there is a lot of play....you must tighten down the mount to where the scope is fairly close to the bore you are looking thru (windage wise)...its possible to get the mount so far off you cant even adjust the windage....thats what i do and it never has failed me yet....when first mounting you are concerned about the windage  first.  use a fatty torque wrench for scope mounting and a bubble level on top of rail and segway...   Wash
