Sisco Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 For those of you working on AR10's, here is a well priced barrel nut wrench. http://www.precisionreflex.com/Detail.aspx It works with a 3/8 or a 1/2 inch torque wrench and is reversible to fit either the old or new AR10 barrel nuts. $24.99
Sisco Posted March 15, 2017 Author Report Posted March 15, 2017 Plus it's half the price of the Armalite Barrel nut wrench, and can be used with 3/8" or 1/2" torque wrenches. Armalite's is 1/2" only.
Rsquared Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 Yep. That's the one I have. It was WELL worth it.
jtallen83 Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 Bought the same wrench, still haven't put it to use.

More want it in case I need to loan it to my gunsmith for any potential work, in addition to thinking about finding an old AR10 "B" model and do an experimental build/upgrade. New barrel, nitrided BCG, Shortened barrel, new buffer and spring, adjustable gas block and a can. Thinking maybe 338 Federal. Edited March 19, 2017 by Sisco
jtallen83 Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 I have not had any luck finding a deal on an old B model. I did come up with a tube from an early T model so when I get the B set up for a suppressor I might add it. Those 18 inch target barrels on the Armalite site have my attention lately as well.
