Well..after the xmas holidays and the flu, I was finally able to return to this project.I ordered a flex hone chamber hone and the XH buffer and rifle spring that Heavibuffers recommended for my extra long buffer tube.

A lil judicious chamber honing and the installation of the spring and buffer, and I seem to be good to go.I also used a small amount of gun grease on the outside of the bolt lugs.

 

Rifle now functions correctly with hi dollar SP ammo, and quality WIN and surplus 7.62x51 so I am a happy camper.
