I will say one thing about aftermarket A2's though.

Be wary of the UTG stuff, mine needed some attention to make it fit correctly without wobble and the actual butt plate is plastic (which will be replaced in the future). Other than that, it is sized correctly....

Where did you get the quick attach for the gaurdian hand guard?  My guardian hand guard came from Fulton but they didn’t have any thing other than rails to attach to it. As you know it has a slot that you have to slide a backer plate into to hold what you put on. I have been unable to find anything that is “specific” for that guard.....or do these things take some kind of generic modular attachments.

They actually work with T-slot hardware. That was a type of "third" choice years back. Let me look when I get back home to remind myself what I did there. And if pics make it better, I will.post some for you. I am just on the other side of the state right at the moment.

ar-mountaineer, I have sent an email off to the OEM maker of those handguards to see if they have hardware left. When they get back to me, i will let you know/pass it along.

Here is how this sling Mount is attached. There is nothing quick about it.

And in case you were wondering, APF Armory is who originally made these handguards. They just resold them to few other Distributors and like Fulton, they just renamed them.

Got one from Matt. Thanks for the offer Pat, I do appreciate it. That camo stock is pretty cool!
