RobPLSCA Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 Is this old news? Media reports cops said the guy had 1,000 firearms. Sounds like the "go to guy" when SHTF for hardware, but only "a ton of ammo" sounds a bit light... That is only 2 lbs of ammo per firearm... Definitely light...
98Z5V Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 I had to go find out what you were talking about... https://www.tmz.com/2019/05/08/gun-confiscation-massive-huge-firearms-los-angeles-holmby-hills/ https://abc7chicago.com/gun-seizure-at-los-angeles-home-finds-massive-cache-of-weapons-1-arrested/5291547/ https://www.tmz.com/2019/05/09/massive-gun-confiscation-firearms-holmby-hills-suspect-gunpoint-malibu/
98Z5V Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 A massive stockpile of firearms has just been confiscated in a super rich area of Los Angeles ... and the sheer number of guns is jaw-dropping. Really?! Come hang out with me for a weekend.

98Z5V Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 I just looked at the overhead pics - he's got me...
98Z5V Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 This guy had it going on... (check the name of this uploaded pic closely... - Hidden Treasures are what this place is about... )
Armed Eye Doc Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 I was jealous. . It looked like a bunch of hunting rifles and military surplus. I didn't see many ARs. There were some nice looking pistols though.

98Z5V Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 Heavy.com nails it down on the guy: https://heavy.com/news/2019/05/girard-damien-saenz/ Also, this is NOT alot of ammo. This amount of ammo doesn't even scratch the surface, in accordance with the amount of firearms that were supposedly seized. This amount doesn't even start a cap-gun fight.

I saw mostly rimfire ammo in the pictures that I saw. It was not a stash commensurate with his firearms. The guy had an FFL supposedly and was operating outside of it..
unforgiven Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 Right away I thought it was Ariza and brother 98 was just on the way to the range.... Then I saw TactiCat probably has more ammo.
Armed Eye Doc Posted July 17, 2019 Report Posted July 17, 2019 Here is an update. He was charged with 64 felonies. Girard Damian Saenz, 58, is charged with 23 counts of possession of an assault weapon, 17 counts of transfer of handgun with no licensed firearms dealer, 15 counts of unlawful assault weapon/.50 Browning Machine Gun rifle activity, seven counts of possession of a short-barreled rifle or shotgun and two counts of possession of a destructive device, the office said. https://www.wtae.com/article/california-man-charged-after-police-found-more-than-1000-guns-in-his-home/28409524
survivalshop Posted July 17, 2019 Report Posted July 17, 2019 (edited) That charges seem to be illegal only in Commie States like Commiefornia , they wouldn't bat an eye here , maybe the short barreled weapons would get you in trouble , but that may also have something to do with Commie laws also . I can see the ATF agents calling dib's on this or that .🤣 Edited July 17, 2019 by survivalshop
DNP Posted July 17, 2019 Report Posted July 17, 2019 Not involved in any crimes. Not linked to terrorism. Up to 49 years for owning items protected by the second amendment. And he’s in a wealthier part of LA....this might be our case! I hope he fights it hard.
DNP Posted July 17, 2019 Report Posted July 17, 2019 Edit to add...illegal transfers might be an issue. Federally regulated arms might be an issue. The California BS should be dropped.
survivalshop Posted July 18, 2019 Report Posted July 18, 2019 And then we have Fed. agent in LA even better , he was selling Machine Guns ! https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2019-07-18/customs-agent-at-long-beach-port-admits-selling-guns-illegally

That guy shouldbe facing more than "a maximum of 25 years" for that stuff. Especially the security-clearance implications.
