Ps. I once contemplated a 10mm AR. I spoke in depth to Ron Williams about it, and he was dead set that it should be built in a DI and not a blow back.

My plan was to launch 155gr at 1500-1600 FPS. That would knock the crap outta anything within 200 yards.

im in !

Tried out a Stern Defense Drop in FCG for blowbacks in the carbine, definitely not the feel of the SR Gold I have in the 308 but not bad for $139. 2lb+2lb 2 stage in its stock configuration. Comes with an extra green spring for a lighter "Not recommended for blowback bolts" setup,  might try it in one of the DI guns, maybe it bridges the gap between $300 dollar "Breaks like glass" FCG's and Millspec single stage "creep, creep, bang"

Think I see a Sightmark on that DB

Have nothing but good things to say about my R-Spec.

I have no complaints with them, even have one on a 308 and have no trouble. I do prefer the ones that use the 123A battery instead of the flat one

The Spec series uses the big battery. Lasts forever. The detachable mount returns to zero very well, even though I don't think it is an advertised feature. We put one on a friend's AR 40 pistol and it required absolutely zero adjustment, right out of the box. I adjusted mine once when I installed it and never have had to touch the adjustment since. Little over $100? I'm impressed.
