I represented the US on many occasions throughout the years both Nationally and in World Competition. We were like celebrities in other countries. Always got the biggest cheers from the crowd no matter where we were in the world. Everyone wanted to be us. The US has always been a power house and a force to be reckoned with in World competition. Nowadays it just feels like we're a bunch of clowns trying to be the most controversial. It's very disappointing for me to watch these self centered center of uranus attention whores trying to be known for what they believe in, not what they're physically capable of. The problem is, they're taking away from themselves the ability to concentrate at the level they need to because they have their thoughts filled with all the bullpoopy they're trying to "stand for". The focus in all sports used to be the sport itself. It was the spirit of competition whether locally, nationally or internationally. The sport and all it's nuances is what draws in the participants as well as the fans. These days, all of that has seemed to have taken a back seat. I'm proud to say though, that all of the shooters I kept track of during these Olympics all had one thing on their mind. Bring home the hardware for the US. And we did. Golds, Silvers and Bronze medals taken in the shooting disciplines with some World Records being set along the way. It's going to be almost impossible at this point to reverse the trend, but ALL sports, including professional sports, should have nothing to do with politics or any kind of social message. But that's not a reality today. Sad, actually. On many levels. But here we are. This right here says it all..... I grew up playing sports ran track ,baseball ,football it was a way of life my Dad played baseball for the Cleveland Indians ,I watched every Olympics, world series etc etc when the Kneeling started I dropped the NFL like a bad Habit,took crap from everyone.. then I dropped all TV stations,and finally this year do to their support of BLM i dropped Baseball eff em all they have forgotten without this country and it's freedom to choose what you want to do in your life they would never have had the chance to be millionaires and people gave their lives for them to protest Bull $hit! Same with Baseball, Hockey (they're doing okay right now), and ANY OTHER professional sport. You're nothing more than Entertainers, and PAID FUCKING WELL to entertain me... So get to it. Shut your mouth, and get to earning your paycheck. I don't need your side-bullshiit, so don't think that you have a right to push it on me, just because of the millions that you've made off everyone in this country. You're overpaid. Hollywood - SAME SHIIT. ANY actor out there - I give not one single shiit what your political views are. Not one. I don't care how you feel. I used to buy movie tickets to watch your latest movie, just to SEE ENTERTAINMENT. You are not SO BIG that I care about what you think, Politically. Go suck yourself off, if you think I should conform to your political views, just because you were a popular actor/actress. Fcuk off. You motherfuckers need to get BACK to what your job is, in the first place. Everything else is a distraction, in what people PAY YOU to do.
