You had your info right before - I was using your info to show the other guy that you were talking about rifle, and he was recommending (or talking about) midlength.  Just wanted him to see what you were talking about.

So it arrived today and it measures about 121/8, see below.

Its listed as a 308 gas tube mid length

PSA owns it now, so lets see what it looks like installed in the gun.  If it's correct, it should come to the very center of the cam pin cutout in the upper receiver, just like this:

Working on my build and time to install the gas block and tube. Put everything in place tried the charging handle and bcg and Houston we have a problem!!!

BCG won’t go into battery and long story short pulled the gas block and tube, bcg locked right up. 
 

My conclusion the 121/8 gas tube is to long for my set up probably need an 11.75 AR15 gas tube.

Pics would help. Install gas block and tube w/o the BCG and take a picture looking up from the mag well. Where in the cam cutout does the gas block end?

It extends past the cut out.

I figure the 11.75 will work fine. I ordered one last night

So I get the new tube and slip it into place. The tube extends about half way across the notch in the upper so that’s about right , but touches the barrel nut.

I wouldn't sweat that to much.. if the bcg works go with it. It might make some noise but doubt you will hear it under fire. I have made a slight bend in a gas tube before but that was a "if I fuckit up oh well, buy another" . The fix was perfect. (458 socm build)
