98Z5V Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 DIrk is not giving himself enough credit. Albeit, he's a very humble man, I know this - but he's a damn good Photog. For sure. <thumbsup>
DNP Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 Thank you again, I would give it hell at least. That BAD stuff looks so flawless I bet anyone can take a good photo of it really.
Robocop1051 Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 It's really unfair that the cheap fuckin' bastards online are allowed to comment on this receiver set. It's truly a work of art and a marvel of machinery.
Battle Arms Dev Posted August 13, 2014 Author Report Posted August 13, 2014 DNP, please email me and I'll send you some things to take pics of ;) We knew there would be folks complaining how expensive it is for a forged receiver. I will not defend the price point, don't need to, but only point out that the manufacturing methods we use are expensive, we're not making insane margins because it has our name on it. Precisely because it does have our name and logo on it, it needs to be as good as we can make it, good enough has never been an acceptable thing for us. There's no way to win an argument of Timex vs. Rolex, Ford vs. Ferrari, etc., I can argue for either side. Value is a rather subjective thing, what one is willing to pay for something is utterly ridiculous for someone else. As a person that values quality and craftsmanship, I'm wiling to pay a lot for things that are commonly referred to as luxury, but these things tend to perform much better, that too is important to me. We carry our personal traits into the business. Both me and George are honest folks that appreciate finely crafted mechanical things, and we both have very high standards for them. Thus the same pattern is seen in our company's products.
unforgiven Posted August 13, 2014 Report Posted August 13, 2014 That is a good looking product brother, there is no doubt it functions as good as it looks.

I can definitely vouch for that - you are both awesome, honest people. There aren't many like you guys left, and it's an honor to know you. <thumbsup>
survivalshop Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 Is there going to be an Upper receiver made by you to match the lower ?
Battle Arms Dev Posted August 21, 2014 Author Report Posted August 21, 2014 Not the forged lower, yet ;)
98Z5V Posted September 11, 2014 Report Posted September 11, 2014 Roger, I think I need to give you a call tomorrow sometime - I'm off on Thursdays, and only have one thing to do about mid-day. I have a plan on something... <thumbsup>
