We already shot it down, as soon as it cleared the South Caroline coast, brother.  It's done, now.  Even CNN and CBS are talking about it today.  It actually happened yesterday, Saturday.  4 Feb 23.

The balloon was shot down off the coast of South Carolina shortly after 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, U.S. officials confirmed to CBS News. A senior defense official said an F-22 dispatched out of Langley Air Force Base took down the balloon with a single air-to-air missile.

My job, my last 5 years in the .mil service, was "accessing signals."  My whole life in .mil was about that - but technology got complicated.  You'd be both shocked and bewildered with what can be done to your smart phone signal.  You'd be devastated.  You're "encrypted" so you're good. 

Right....  Keep thinking that.

That's exactly why I have a dumb phone, and it's for A reason.
