imschur Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Hot on the heals of the .45 project is the 9mm. I havent decided whether I will go with a RRA or CMMG upper. Im slightly CMMG leaning because I think delivery will be faster. Like the .45 I have a spikes receiver set. This will have a Magpul MOE + and CTR buttstock in foliage green, trigger is TBD as well. Might go with an adjustable ATC if they are available when Im ready. The alternative is a CMC Trigger. On hand I have a Hahn 9mm conversion block and a few Colt 9mm mags.Pictures to follow as progress continues

I have most of the parts for both builds except for BCG's.Can you use a CMMG dedicated lower ??? Found some for $237.

Polymer ...upper and lower. Super lightweight ::) Get a plastic ProMag adapter for $60 and a Plastic lower for $40.There is a Carbon Fiber Upper out there. 8)Save the Hahn adapter for the 40S&w build. Yeah thats the ticket.

vw Posted May 25, 2012 Report Posted May 25, 2012 I'm glad to see this thread and the .45 thread.I have a 9mm Oly upper on a DPMS lower.It uses a Kurts Kustom Firearms magwell block and Sten mags.I've only got a few hundred rounds through it, but I love it.
MikedaddyH Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 Took out the 9mm AR last week and dumped 400 rounds into a target at 50 yards. I had to adjust the sights the first shots were in the dirt at the base of the target. Towards the end of the day the wind was blowing the rounds 6" to 8" to the right. I had no problems with operations of the gun. When I cleaned it over the weekend the BCG was dirty( Nasty). I had used factory and reloads, all fmj rounds.
