Rsquared Posted Friday at 12:30 AM Report Posted Friday at 12:30 AM I heard earlier that another Trek vet has taken the trip to Valhalla. Sir Patrick Stewart, aka...Captain Jean Luc Picard has passed at the age of 86. An excellent actor, with an unmistakable strong baritone voice while in command throughout the 80's, 90's and early 00's. He commanded respect and was the symbol of authority on the bridge of "His" Enterprise. Sleep well Captain. All systems are online....Helm is answering. Steady as she goes Sir. Farewell.

Sisco Posted Saturday at 12:39 AM Report Posted Saturday at 12:39 AM Heroes and actors of our younger days are leaving. Not time for me yet but getting closer. And that is okay, no regrets. Sir Patrick had Lewy Body Dementia and associated Alzheimers. I have been a fan of his since I saw him in “Excaliber”.
Cunuckgaucho Posted Saturday at 03:50 PM Report Posted Saturday at 03:50 PM He certinly had command presence. While best known for Star Trek, the range of his work went from classic Shakespear on the stage to contempary movies and animation.
