SDDuc996
That is an awesome range. Where is that?On a side note, do you have the bipod mounted to the picatinny rail on the gas block?
Spaniky73
ALL, I am the one without the hat. The range is call P2K in San Diego CA. It is a 100yrd indoor. The Godzilla sound is their ventalation. Yes my bipod is attached to the gas block and the rifle feels like a .223.
SDDuc996
What kind of accuracy results are you getting?
Jgun
Nice indoor range. I'm surprised that you guys can get away with the plugs, when I shoot rifle indoors I need to double up with plugs and muffs (I'm trying to preserve what hearing I still have left)
unforgiven
Brother Spaniky I also had my bi-pod on gas block then I moved it back to the edge of handgaurd and groups seem to improve.Isolating the barrel seem to help me just my .02 <dontknow>. Spaniky73
What kind of accuracy results are you getting? I am shooting a consistant dime size grouping in that range. Nice indoor range. I'm surprised that you guys can get away with the plugs, when I shoot rifle indoors I need to double up with plugs and muffs (I'm trying to preserve what hearing I still have left) I have the same plugs we use on the fight deck of a carrier. They are not comfortable but they work. Brother Spaniky I also had my bi-pod on gas block then I moved it back to the edge of handgaurd and groups seem to improve.Isolating the barrel seem to help me just my .02 <dontknow>.I am always up for constructive criticism. I will try it. Thank you.

You beat me to it. Let the free float rail take that upward pressure exerted by the weight of the rifle onto the bipod.

sketch
I must have missed the part on the build thred? What was your awesome solution for little to none recoil? vid was awesome! Ahh heavy buffer and spring i find but what kind.. do tell?
Spaniky73
The buffer is from http://heavybuffers.com/. It is on the right side of the page under Heavy Buffers. The other thing that made a HUGE difference was the muzzle brake. It was $40 on amazon and listed under Shark Muzzle brake.
