Walmart ammunition

An aquaintance of mine is the sporting goods manager at a local Wally World and she told me yesterday that WW is not allowing her to order any ammunition.

She was told that the ammo mfgs were complaining that the back orders were becoming unmanagably and asked Walmart to stop placing orders. ??

Sounds kinda fishy to me.

Very, I've been at my local Walmart scooping up ammo, the seem to have an unlimited supply of 22LR CCI minimags!

ours seems to get some in every day or two. They won't sell it until 7 am- and limited you to 2 boxes (now up to 3). If they get any 22LR in it goes fast. The phone chain and boom. Haven't seen any for a couple months

My wife and I hit 3 different Wal Mart's up this past friday early am and got quite a bit of 9mm, 45 acp and 308. Went back to one a hour later and were wiped out.

what blows for me is that the closest walmart is under a mile away, just about right across the street from the entrance to my subdivision BUT the high school is also right next door to it so they don't sell guns or ammo. Sure they sell beer and wine, not like any high school kids would every shoplift that. And I'm sure the liberals could find all sorts of mass killings where the person showed up with guns but no ammo, and stopped into a walmart right before to grab some even if there is no way its ever happened.

After hitting the six Walley worlds in my area I found one that had ammo. got there at 7 am and at 7:30 a store employee came to help us. They had 22lr that was in stock limit 3 per customer/per day. All 6 of us in line bought 3 each and there where 2 boxes left. The good news is they get a shipment every night usally one or two cases per order.

Scored again ! This time they had 9mm,40s&w,45acp come in and the 2 boxes of 22lr from yesterday. I GOT 3 BOXES OF 9MM @ 100 EACH AT REGULAR PRICE ! That was first time I have seen this since Sportsmans warehouse had product.  :o

Same exact thing here.  However, if you're not "in line" by 0630, you'll never get anything.  It's nuts...  :cookoo:

Got there after the 7am rush and picked the last 22lr brick,a 100pk of 40s&w and a 50pk of Tula 9mm. <thumbsup>

  Our local wallyworld won't sell bricks, 50 rnd boxes only.  3 boxes per customer.

They had 223 in today ! One of my buddies from work got some. Win white box 9mm and 40s&w /100pk, 333 in 22lr. Got some CCI mini mags the other day.

I went to local Wally World this AM and scored 3 boxes of Federal 45's for $20.34.  :banana: They had just brought them out to put up.  They had some 9mm and 40 S&W as well, but there is a 3 box limit.  The stocklady was less than cordial.  "I hate putting this stuff out."
