EasyEJL Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 No bubba-ing the M1!!!! Leave it alone!agreed, that one is perfect as it is, anything changed is just going downhill on it.
98Z5V Posted December 8, 2013 Author Report Posted December 8, 2013 Not gonna Bubba the thing - just a slight change to increase functionality. You guys will see. Nothing I do will be a modification that can't be immediately undone. <thumbsup>
planeflyer21 Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 Sheet…those ol' dudes had as many or more accessories for the M1/2 Carbines as we do for ARs. Almost all of it was clamp on. Canvas and steel has been replaced with kydex and aluminum.
98Z5V Posted June 12, 2014 Author Report Posted June 12, 2014 Good for now - told you guys it wasn't going to be permanent. There will be more, in time. Depends on when I can find stuff. Two 30-round ProMags and two 15-round ProMags feed it now - the original mag is wrapped in a silicone gun cloth. UltiMak Scout Rail and another Primary Arms mini red dot for it. I'll zero the red dot on Sunday. Need to go out and shoot anyway. Will be trying out Herter's brass-cased ammo through it. I know their steel case ammo SUCKS through an AR, but i'd like to see how their "Select" ammo does, and see if I can reload the brass cases. Here she be:
98Z5V Posted June 12, 2014 Author Report Posted June 12, 2014 Just wait 'til I find another stock! Then I'll be getting a barreled action from Fulton, then a trigger group... then it'll be a complete other M1 Carbine! <lmao>
98Z5V Posted June 12, 2014 Author Report Posted June 12, 2014 it's not tan? ??? No way I'll paint this stock... No way. However, that doesn't mean I wouldn't buy another stock for it and paint the $HIT outta that one!!! <lmao> Be patient, brother... Great classic brother.I likey. :hail: Thank you kindly, my good man! :hethan:
