98Z5V
I followed the first two seasons pretty close, but kinda ran out of time after that. Haven't kept up in quite awhile. I need to find the older stuff on Netflix or something. I was pissed about Opie's wife. I was even more pissed about Opie. That schit was wrong. jrtMA
^^^the Opie death was probably the worst thing that happened in the shows history. I've caught up on all seasons. It's probably my favorite show now that Breaking Bad is over.
shepp
Tom it is on netflix. I'm really weird about this show, if I miss an episode and I can't watch it before the next one I'll stop watching the season until I can catch up. I've been watching it since day one also. It's getting alittle far fetched but still better then most the poop on tv. I'll give it to FX they have put out some great series like this. Robocop1051
I think it's funny how many cops watch those shows. I've never seen either. The shithole ghetto I work in, is like an episode of Breaking Bad. I don't need that when I'm home. Besides, my TV has Disney channel images burnt into the screen. As for SoA, I come from a multi-generational cop family. A lot of the old guys I know made a lengthy career around shooting it out with SoA types through the 70's and 880's. I have some great stories that'll never get written online.
shepp
I was also pissed about opie, there was a newer member this season killed to where I was like WTF not him!
392heminut
I've watched it since day one and have the DVR set to record all new episodes so if I miss it I can watch it later. Kurt Sutter is an artist at entwining several different storylines in one show, he did the same thing with 'The Badge', which was also a great show! Being a retired cop and a member of one of the older law enforcement motorcycle clubs I have to say that by real life standards both shows are way overboard on what actually takes place in the realms of the areas they cover, but that is how Sutter writes and apparently it works! My only problem with the SoA series is that there are probably some 1%'ers out there that will let this stuff go to their head and start thinking they can get away with the same kind of crap! It happened to the Hells Angels back in the 60's when the biker movies were coming out left and right.
shepp
He's actually talked with active and former hellz angel members and cast them. Not ato but the other guy in prison is the former president and I think frank zito was his name played the guy who killed the sheriffs wife Edited October 16, 2013 by shepp
392heminut
The other guy in prison (the one with the stoma) was Sonny Barger, who is regarded as the guy who made the HA the club what it is today. He was one of the founding members of the Oakland chapter back in the late 50's and is still active in the club. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonny_Barger Edited October 17, 2013 by 392heminut
sketch
We've got banditos in my neck of the woods. I cought a few episodes but didn't get the bug.
392heminut
I had a run-in with some Bandidos in Las Cruces a few weeks ago. Some of those a$$holes showed up at a Centauros charity run I went on (they didn't even pay to go on the run, just showed up at the end) and didn't appreciate my presence! One of them got smart and called their Pres. and when he showed up he told them to leave me the hell alone! As a rule 1%'ers don't mess with LEMC's because they know it's a can't win situation, but there's always that one retard that wants to make a name for himself! That's why I don't trust any of them and hate the Bandidos with a passion! I was armed of course and it wouldn't have bothered me to shoot one of those MF'ers! shepp
Sonny that's it, I was thinking lucky for some reason maybe that's his character name. Wisconsin is an outlaws state, with a few other 1%ers diablo lobos is another. Used to hang out at the tattoo shop most the lobos went to so I was always on their good side. Over the last few years I've seen more and more outlaws around here, but never come across them really but I also ride a sport bike. Some wanna be biker about 3-4 years ago got into a verbal confrontation with a guy I went to school with at a stop light, chased him down and shot him in the head and killed him . Guys kids are growing up with out a dad because some guy from a Podunk town thought he was billy bad ass

392heminut
Bubba, I'm in Deming, NM. The LEMC I'm in has a chapter in El Paso too. Those guys have never had any run-ins with the EP 1%'ers. I think the problem I had in Las Cruces was just a case of one retard showing his a$$! jrtMA
We had a Hells Angels clubhouse open up 5 minutes from an old apartment I lived in in my early 20's...interesting changes they made to the exterior. Privacy barbwire fences and security cameras were a nice touch. Edited October 22, 2013 by jrtmasp

Breaking Bad was just a really good show from the start. We don't have a big meth problem here (yet) so I also enjoyed it from that respect...I say that completely from the entertainment aspect not educational.
