If you want an honest view about short barrels and the bullets coming out of them, find some of those old dogs who have been hunting with Thompson Contenders for the last several decades. Depending on the pistol, some of those guys are taking game out to 300 yards.

Tom reminds me of our Defense Tactics/Firearms instructor we had at the academy. Some of those recruits were scared to death of that guy. Rumor was he had gorilla milk and nails for breakfast every morning! :ugone2far: <laughs>
