What a great thread. Thanks for asking the question jt, I'm having the same problem with my PM400.Thanks to shibi I just ordered the MI MCTAR-30HD.

I believe it'll be just the trick.

I was getting ready to order one tonight but then I caught the fathers-day sale at Primary Arms and ordered the SSA trigger instead, I'm getting one for sure at the end of the month though!

jtallen83,

The MCTAR-30HD buffer tube sling adapter from Midwest Industries arrived today.

It comes with two sets of screws, long and short so it can be fitted to the two different tube diameters.

The SIG PM-400 has the larger tube so the adapter appears too small at first, but if you use the long screws to get it started the adapter expands to fit without distorting the buffer tube.

Works like a charm. The brace is going to stay put now.

Thanks for the suggestion shibi.

There must be something wrong with my connection... I don't see any pictures... I'm sure MG wouldn't make such a faux pad as to forget pics... WTF!?

I'm back to work Friday.

Ill photograph then.

You're welcome!

What is the "real" diameter of the SIG tube? Good to know just in case we decide to make something sleeker and more "adjustable". :D

Just placed my order for the MI MCTAR-30HD, should have it next week, I'll try to remember to measure the tube, it does have a knurled section on the tube close to the receiver, just not far enough out to keep the "brace" where I need it.

Thanks for all the guidance!
