Need A Sling Point That clamps Onto The Buffer Tube?

I'm trying to find a sling point adapter that will clamp on to the buffer tube. I want to position it about 3-4 inches down the buffer tube from the receiver on my PM400. My main purpose is to hold the "arm brace" in position. I've been using a duct tape wrap but with time, recoil, and heat the "brace" is pushing the tape forward and making a sticky mess. Most everything I'm finding appears to be made to fit right at the receiver.

Anyone got any ideas?

I've thought about a regular hose clamp but I'd prefer a more finished look, the duct tape got a try because it was black......

let me know if your totally stuck and I'll machine you an aluminum collar with a couple set screws.  You pay shipping though.

That would be exactly what I'm looking for! I'd be glad to pay your time and material plus the shipping! Pm me with details of what you need. You never know, there may be a market for a collar like this with all the Sig "arm braces" out there now.....everyone has different length arms you know B)

There is a company that's making a specific receiver extension just for the sig arm brace.  Sound like you want yours further back that this will set it at, but it's a start.  They have collars that you can use to set the distances.

The extension:

You can always get industrial components like this 1-3/16" clamp collar:

Or a set screw collar:

There's even a quick release version if you want to futz with the length on a regular basis.

There's also the Troy PGRSA.  Not really ideal but it clamps on the buffer tube/castle nut.

....and Midwest Industries has one too, which may be more in line for what you're looking for:

Wow, thanks gentlemen! From no choice to overload! I think I like the quick release so I can adjust for the grand-kids. The MI looks good as well, it would hold the "brace with a cant in it if I choose, I looked at their website but didn't see that one??????....now I'm like a kid in a candy store   maybe I'll get two!

That the attitude, brother!  <lmao>

You need another pistol.  Set yours up where you want it.  Done.  Setup the second one with a quick-release-type system for the grandkids to shoot.

EDIT - We have NEVER claimed to be good influences, here.  Just the opposite.  We'll tell you right up front that we're gonna hurt your wallet, or ruin your credit...  <laughs>

Guess I will need two, got that Sig P716 next on the list for "pistols". Both that and the PM400 have lots of sling point options already but I'm thinking that MI adapter will be on the way soon. B) As long as I buy the wifey a purse now and again she doesn't care much what I spend my expense checks on :love4: , I'm gonna get pretty skinny if I keep hanging out here! <laughs>
