edgecrusher Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 I have one of these Shibi http://www.cannonsafe.com/series/armory/a64.html
shibiwan Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) We're already planning on a safe. Gonna hide it away in the break room (which is the only lockable room away from the windows). I'm worried if I put in display cases that it'll tempt some druggie to break in, smash and make off with some stupid accessories. Cameras are already in place. It's set up to give us situational awareness both outside an inside. We actually caught one of our night shift staff falling asleep on the job, thanks to the cameras. You'd think he'd notice those cameras (they are out in the open) but he just checked in, pushed the start button, then made himself comfortable and went to sleep. Dumbass kid. <laughs> <lmao> Edited June 20, 2014 by shibiwan
shepp Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 I agree with flyer. on one of our job sights in the hood of the north side Milwaukee we had two guys find an open door in the tenant space next door kick thru the wall into the site, break into the walk in cooler we had stuff in took out sawzall and broke into every other contractors job box with it then tried cutting a hole into the dollar store next door but ran into a brick wall. They made off with 10-15,000 dollars in equipment. Oh and there was a security co on the grounds, they figured they were in on it.
Cali_Ed Posted June 20, 2014 Author Report Posted June 20, 2014 There was a story that a gentlemen went out on vacation and had a big safe in his garage. With all the tools he had in the garage the thief's had a chance to break in
98Z5V Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Taking suggestions. Hire former military students that are attending MMI (Motorcycle Mechanic's Institute). Advertise the job as "High Risk Security." Provide the firearms that they'll need to defend the property in the event of an armed break-in. Let them know they can sleep on the job - just be there. If anything happens, and anyone breaks in, they are to make surethat no one steals anything. If those that are breaking in are armed, then they (by all means) should defend themselves. You'll have a ton of applications. Your place will be WELL defended. You'll never lose anything due to a break-in. All you have to do is inform them of the ROE, and they're good to go. <thumbsup>
gnatshooter Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Wal-Mart definitely has a problem with 'thief-proofing' its gun department in Memphis. Looks like they're short by ten guns.
