I'll start with a few common issues. What is the interior depth of your buffer tube? What is the length and weight of the buffer? Do you have a picture of the bcg travel limitations? While we're at it, how far does the gas tube provide into the upper? A picture straight up through the magwell will show whether that needs changing.

I just bought 1917. I hope it lives up to the hype I remember hearing about it. I also bought Midway because it was there. I'll watch it over the next little while.

I have one of these as well. They do work as well as he says. The only reason I don't have more is that I have not built a rifle is a while. I need to see if they have one that will work for a 450. ETA: They do not make them in .45 Cal.
