  1. Im in. I'll start it at $100.
  2. Money sent to you Rob. Better to not let the website get a cut if it can be helped.
  3. Cool story, but the guy either needs to get a real safe or hide that thing in a closet.
  4. Welcome from Texas.
  5. I'm sure Jacob from Beachin Tactical would give you a good deal on a surprise sling of whatever color he has too much of. It would be a great sling as well as match your grab bag of accessories. Seriously, the man has great product.
  6. I'll be the first one to tell you that it needs to be dripping with lube during the break in period. These need a lot of lubrication at the beginning.
  7. Welcome from Texas
  8. It's great that you found what you were looking for and it worked out well. The only thing left for you to do is to take pictures and show the completed project.
  9. It was a little melty, but scooped up well with some tortilla chips. We used some on hamburgers a couple of days later.
  10. Super Bowl weekend I smoked some cheddar and colby jack. It was my first time for cheese and I liked it. Oh yeah, I also smoked some ribs.
  11. I agree with this completely. My brother works at a Ford dealer on transmissions and he said the same basic thing. My clutch pedal will get hard and not engage if I drive the truck over about 45 minutes. So I just use it around town until it breaks more. To redo the whole clutch, master/slave cylinder and everything involved would be over $700. The truck has 202K miles on it. So if I am going to fix something in there, I'll do it all at the same time. When I bought this one, it showed less than 20K miles on the odometer. I was young and didn't check it out well because I liked the way they looked back then. When the brakes started acting up, I took off the tires and saw that the rotors had a deep gouge in them where the prior owner had not replaced the pads and ground metal on metal for a long time. The guy I bought it from had only replaced the pads and they had a corresponding raised area. It also had a fuel pump relay issue that was probably just Jeep at the time. I didn't learn my lesson and traded it in on a new 92 Wrangler that I had for less than a year due to finances at the time.
  12. As near as I can remember, there were about 19 between my wife and me since we've been together (almost 30 years). I've updated my number three times since I started this post with vehicles I forgot about. There have been cars, pickups and a motorcycle of all different makes and models. Oh yeah, there were 2 4-wheelers in there as well. My favorite would be the 2010 Challenger R/T that I bought new. Longest lasting is the 1997 Ranger that I have had since new. It needs a new slave cylinder but will still run around town just fine. Timing belt broke at 180K miles, but runs fine since I fixed it. Least favorite would be my wife's 280ZX. I installed or had installed 6 different starters on that car in a year. It had a fuel injection problem that I could never figure out. A close 2nd would be the Jeep Comanche pickup I bought and didn't realize someone had rolled the odometer back probably 100K miles. I had nothing but problems with it.
  13. Great ending to the mission!
  14. Here is a search on autotrader.com around Madison for 2003-13 4X4 Tundras. It's a place to start. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/AWD+~+4WD/Toyota/Tundra/Waunakee+WI-53597?zip=53597&showcaseOwnerId=0&startYear=2003&vehicleStyleCodes=AWD4WD&firstRecord=0&endYear=2013&modelCodeList=TUNDRA&searchRadius=50&makeCodeList=TOYOTA&numRecords=25
  15. If you change vehicles every 2 or 3 years, leasing might make some sense. But it seems like you keep things for a while. It would be like renting the same house for 30 years. What would it take/cost to fix your truck? Would it be significantly cheaper in the long run to keep it?
  16. There is a show on American Heroes channel about the battle at lz x-ray right now. It looks like it will be on again at 10 pm Central.
  17. Welcome from Texas.
  18. I had to pause the video to see this.
  19. Sorry for your loss and prayers sent.
  20. Welcome from Texas
