  4. Rock River got back into producing 1911's. They have several models to choose from, but they are pricey. They start at $925 for the new 1911 poly and go up to $3600. They don't look as good as the one that Madhouse put together either. http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=559

  6. Welcome from Texas.
  7. I saw a video that was more serious than that in the past, but when I searched for it, this was the first one that came up and was much more interesting.
  8. Drinking and weaving could yield some interesting patterns, just like the spiders on drugs.
  9. Welcome to the forum. You might start a new thread with specific questions you have. The old and long threads may not get the attention your question needs. There are many knowledgeable people on this site who can answer almost anything firearm related.
  10. Nice rifle. I have wanted something like that as well. Enjoy

  12. Welcome from Texas and thank you for your service.
  13. I was not able to access the site from my work PC or my phone. It started last night and lasted most of the day.

  19. Welcome from Texas.
  20. Damn that looks like a blast. My work just doesn't allow for much spur of the moment road trips.
  21. Welcome from Texas.
  22. Back in the 80's, my brother worked in construction in DFW area. He told me about a coworker at his job-site who pointed a pipe at the presidential motorcade as it was passing on the freeway several stories below. He got visited by the secret service or police. I don't remember if anything happened other than talking to him.
  23. I thought you were dead.
  24. Welcome from Texas. There is lots of useful information on this site. There is also many experienced people who have likely done or experienced what you may be doing. They don't mind helping you to spend your money so you get the best weapon you can mortgage your house to buy.
  25. Good to hear that your mom is doing better. I will preface this by saying that I am not a cardiologist (and didn't sleep in a Holiday Inn Express). From what you say, it sounds like she may have congestive heart failure and/or pulmonary edema. Most of the time these can be treated with medicine with an occasional need for surgery if there is a leaky heart valve. I have a talent for taking "doctor speak" and translating it into English. I may have to study up on the condition first, but I can usually make it make sense.
