I need to build a doghouse over the pump and associated pipes. I’ll put a small heater (or 75watt bulb) in with it. They make some pretty cool stuff in addition to the heat tape.

We should give them more power. Maybe more power would make it better?

It got some red neck insulating last night. My well guy is awesome. Texted him at 8:30 and it was fixed before 11AM. I threw a trash can stuffed with insulation around the pump and 4gal pressure tank. Wrapped the pipes with some foam. It’s a good bandaid.

We’ll learn to live with it…. As long as he’s a happy man, who can ask for anything more.

I had some pretty weak icicles on Wednesday. And if I don’t get a house around my pump soon I’m gonna go broke fixing it.

I’ll bet he had a better owner than you’re giving yourself credit for. It sounds like he had an awesome life and I’d also bet he enjoyed every minute of his time with your family. Having to see them go is the worst part of having a dog in your life, but you gave him one last beautiful memory for the both of you to carry. I’m sorry for your loss and hope his memories continue to bring smiles every time you look back.
