Ok, I had to ask because they were in there like details of what was happening. Always want to rule out what is fluff and what is detail. how many rounds through the rifle? Will it empty a mag? Check headspace and polish the chamber. edit, sorry…I just read up the thread 100 rounds through it.

That’s why I wear one…you never know when you’ll get trapped in a San Diego winter storm and have to boil water. Plus side is that it’s already bowl shaped.

Just going through the symptoms. It cycles fine by hand, but jams it tight when fired, cycles when you’re firing it though. You say you put it on safe and drop the mag…will it do the same with safety off and the mag still in?

It does fairly well with just moderate lube. I have a spray, not even sure which one. I hose the BCG off and throw it in. I’m terrible with cleaning firearms, so that comes into play on my end occasionally too.

That sounds right from what I see tossed around here, but I’ll leave that to the gas port whisperer to confirm. Lube is definitely key. Mine wasn’t that bad, and I was feeding it pretty decent ammo, but I think I was well north of 100 rounds before I started to get consistent hold open on the last round. I know I was lighter than I needed to be on lube during that period from what I’ve learned here.

Like they haven’t read a thread or two on this forum. They get around to putting the rest together right and they have a real nice, functioning, reasonably priced rifle that doesn’t get a bunch of callbacks….and actually makes a good name for the company. But hey, who in their right mind would want all that?

That sucks to hear. They make good parts. Sounds like they need some better help on the assembly side.

Extractor issue? If it’s leaving a case in the barrel there’s an issue there. What BCG is in it? Pics of the bolt face? What was the ammo? Factory or reloads?

And I knew nothing about this when I built mine. I got lucky on everything I bought for that gun.
