  1. Judging by the stain on the ground, she fuels there often. This wasn’t the first time.
  2. Thank you for taking the time to update and inform. That’s all extremely useful closure to a topic that we seldom see. While you’re right, we weren’t riding the edge of our chairs, we all watch and read through these hoping to see a positive outcome. Everyone who chimes in truly does want to see your rifle functioning properly and to know that there’s another happy shooter out there. Always great to hear about positive customer support as well. It just reinforces that if you take the time to talk to a solid company you can actually get some great responses. Good work.
  3. Lol...they see me rollin.... trend setter

@shepp oak ridge? I still haven’t used that one, but bought a small bag with the last order.

Yep. I’m way lower than I wanted to be on that one. Had a chance at getting in on a really good group buy through one of the department suppliers, but it looks like that went away.
  6. Now now. It isn’t “meaningless”. It gives the peasants hope and allows them to believe they participated. We don’t need them to know that they live in a dictatorship where all decisions are really made by a few who pull the strings.
  7. At least it’s the right color
  8. My wife laughed, and then asked what sort of bread I want....
  9. Hell yeah he does. He’ll give that rifle plenty of love.
  10. Signed up for my 500 gallon tank this week. Installed the gas line to the house today. We get a locked in $1.99/gal for a little while as a promo, but yes...I expect to see high fuel prices for the next few years. Hopefully that will give us something to hammer home again with the next run for office.
  11. Best to keep upper and lower from same manufacturer. Eliminates headaches in any variance there might be in design or tolerance. If an issue does show up, you have one company that will need to correct or replace one part. If you have x matched with y, they’ll each blame the other and you will never sort it out. Stay same brand on receivers, way less trouble.
  12. Here we go again....
  13. Sounds like we found you a new RV for your AZ property...

I guess it will all depend on the brine too. Looking forward to hear the results.

How long do you brine yours @Sisco? I did that a few times. 8-12 hours seemed to be good. A full day was way too much.
  17. Looks like lots of room underneath them...maybe some magazine storage?
  18. You see those craters in Siberia caused by methane gas busting out of the ground? Wonder how many cow farts each of those equated to?
  19. The propane generator is nice because you don’t have the fuel to maintain like the diesel, but they are a little pricey when they’re running based on fuel consumption. Wind is a tough one when the mill freezes, solar is tough when it snows or clouds up. Nothing like a good ok clean energy nuclear plant...let’s get back to building those. This event will definitely make some changes in the way they design the mills...so that’s good for engineers I guess. Hope all stay safe out there. Damn global warming. All the hot spots in the world sucked the heat out of us.
  20. I remember @98Z5V’s lovely long hair. Mines about that long right now. I’m 8 months or so since the last #3 buzz.
  21. We’re you expecting a Democrat to have some integrity? I got a beachfront bridge in Arizona for sale....cheap.

I think so, though it does have a Celsius setting for the Fahrenheit impaired.

Tried to get my wife to take one and send it to me. She said no. I’ll be home later. She did say it says NSF CDN on it. scrww it. I looked it up. It’s this one: https://www.homedepot.com/p/CDN-ProAccurate-Black-Digital-Food-Thermometer-Q2-450X/204211087 might find it cheaper elsewhere. I paid $16 at my meat market

I’ve tried a handful of probes. Most are the same manufacturer and different casings. I’ve found the folding ones (at least the 4-5 I have tried) all sucked. I’ll take a picture of the one I have that has been awesome and even after long periods of time continues to read accurately. I test every so often in an ice bath and run the calibration.

I left my fancy $80 4 probe Bluetooth unit outside a little too long unfortunately as well. Since then I just go by the fast-read kitchen one.
