Dreaded double post

They are no longer showing up on their sight . Damn , I knew I should have picked up more . Snooze & you lose .
-
The 300BLK is should be no more expensive then an 5.56/.223 , its just a different Barrel, all other components are AR 15 , their is a section around here on just 300BLK . My 300BLK is the lightest rifle I have & is pure pleasure to shoot & reload for . I like cutting & forming my own brass , kinda cool . Its the only non std. caliber I own . I built mine on a Tactical Machining Lower & their AR 15 Upper receiver , but anyones AR 15 Receiver set will work . A Multi Cal Lower is good because of no Cal. designation , I picked a TM because its designated 300BLK Lower receiver . As said above , many good Receivers out there .

They are not affiliated with anyone , but they sure took the heat off the Democommie's with Hitlery's Treasonous acts. She will probably ( or O'butthead will )pardon them .

This !

Heres a hard video to watch , a LEO tried to get this POS & paid the price . A lot of incoming , I'm surprised the Perp didn't take one , a lot of sparks ? Tracers or is this Perp shooting metal jacketed ammo . http://heavy.com/news/2016/07/dallas-police-gunman-shooting-cop-officer-victim-video-kdfw-graphic-opening-fire-twitter-youtube/

I just started a thread in the Club House section the same time you were typing this one , it is sad , all you LEO on this sight , watch your six .
-
A little early for hard data ,but it looks like two snipers shot 10 LEO's during the Protest in down town Dallas . Early reports are four LEO's Dead & another six or more wounded . One suspect neutralized & another is pined down .

Pre ordered a .750" Clamp on Mid System . I'll let post when it arrives .
-
Nice ! You can look up the serial number & see when it was made . I used to have the web address , but not sure where it went , might be on the PC that took a dump .

300 Blackout , 16" light wt. bbl.
-
If one couldn't find or make a part , one could always go back to DI system. I guess I will put down & pre order one .
-
I gave my reasoning in the other older thread I started on this wt. Bullet , but will give it again , I have no where close to shoot 1K , so 2-300 yards is about all I will shoot or actually be able to shoot in real life , so why pay the extra $ for the heavies , not to mention my testing with 149 gr. M80 Ball & these 155 gr. , shows there is very little difference in where they print , just a much better Grouping with the 155 gr. , so I can pick up any box of Ball 7.62x51 & not have to change a thing on scope settings. If there are some left next week , I will probably order another box or two . I think Sierra is phasing out this Bullet & going with their Palma version . 98 showed a comparison on the other Thread

And here'a another one , I can't believe this women went to live stream & was so calm , until she was taken out of the car & hand cuffed , just odd . He said he had a concealed weapon & was licensed to carrie , but that has not been determined yet . Just crazy ! http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/07/us/falcon-heights-shooting-minnesota/index.html

What ever happened to cooperating with LE , even a Convicted Felon would still be alive , but of course as a convicted Felon & in possession of a firearm & was already reported to have threatened someone with a gun , he thought he could skate if he resisted , but that won't matter to BLM ,no one is allowed to protect themselves against a Black person . I'm not PC, so screw all of them.
-
What type ? Carbine , SBR, Match etc .
-
Interesting , I've never heard that , but it makes sense . I still want to try a Piston build , this one is around the same pricing as an Adam Arms , not that I have any issue with theirs , this one looks a little more appealing to me . The issue I have with any of these system is parts availability in the future , you never know when one of these companies will go under then your S.O.L . . With DI system , thats not an issue . One note those are my prices & some or most of you will not get this price on a kit .
-
I find this an interesting Piston system for an AR 15 , now if some of these companies would make them for 308AR's , I would try one . Might try one in the two AR 15's I have going , they are free order . I just might . Results: The pressure used in the block is reduced only to the amount required to drive the bolt carrier. The remaining gas / pressure are bled out of the block allowing the system to run much cleaner and cooler. Reduction of felt recoil. Patent pending adjustment detent is located outside of the block and therefore no contamination. The gas adjustment screw does not restrict the gas flow; therefore there is no erosion or seizing of the screw / no loss of detent due to carbon build up. Although it is removable, we have added a safety mechanism, which stops you from unintentionally backing the screw all the way out. When using SBR’s and / or suppressors the bleed off port allows the excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block reducing blow back. Wish I would have gotten more when Botech had the four , so called blems for $ 99 , but I'll enjoy the ones I do have .
-
They say he was shot in the back , had to be exit wounds or someone giving false info , just like ," he had his hands raised ".
-
Its hard to put yourself in these kind of situations , but I say the LEO did what he needed to do . http://www.infowars.com/graphic-shock-footage-shows-new-angle-of-alton-sterling-shooting/

I just got 500 of these from Wideners for $ 99 , couldn't pass it up , because this is my wt. Bullet I'm loading for now on . I have 155 gr. Amax & Nosler 155 gr. that I have a buch of load data on already with the 18" ( I have an offer on this rifle , I may not refuse ) & my 16" , I will take the 20" 16" & 18 " for some testing with this & the others shortly with all Chromo data & Targets . This is from left to right , Amax, Nosler & SMK , if you look close , the Amax & Nosler have some lines at the nose of the Bullet , Maybe from Swaging , the ones on the Amax are hard to see , but the Noshers are quite apparent , where as there is not marks on the SMK's.

I have LE Wilson Case Trimmer & I was looking at it last night & the way this Trimmer is set up its possible to trim the Base also .I have had some bases with some test loads ( a little High ) that would get scuffing fromExtraction or the Ejector mark , some times these are hard to get into the Shell Holder & a light filing of the base was in order to get the scuff out for the Shell Holder to accept the case . So I checked out doing a light trim on the base , just to see if it could remove the scuff & looks like it would work . Not many Trimmers work like the LE Wilson , so many will not be able to do this , but for me I can't wait to try it on a Case Base , I really don't get many , because I am about done with testing for the 308 & the fact most of the older brass I was using for testing has ben cycled out with new once fired . I remember the Remington Brass was the worse , but printed my best groups , go figure . This is the set up I have in the normal orientation , with the Gray lever being swung over top of the Case Holder to wedge it in place , so it wont spin or move . This is with the case & Holder backwards This is a very light trim just to see where the Cutter touches

Inaccurate Upper Reciever Troubleshooting
survivalshop replied to Pathfinder2041's topic in Building a .308AR
Great to hear you found the issue & they are taking care of you . -
I think they worry about slam fires , the Extractor might see some advanced wear , but should be minimal . Just alter a Mag . as said .
