I have finally had a chance to unpack and go through some of the stuff I've acquired throughout my travels. There aren't any real hard set prices, but don't lowball me either. Purchaser will cover s&h and pp fees (or friends and family) If an item is sold, I will remove the photo, to help eliminate any confusion. Any questions, feel free to ask or message

I do not have experience with the vibra-tite, but the easy way to get rid of loc-tite is heat. I use a propane torch and lightly heat it up without overheating the metal parts. When the lic-tite breaks loose, you'll know. You'll get a sweet smell. But act fast, cause if it cools before you get it out, it will reset and you'll have to do it all over again. If your screws are out, heat them and wipe them off then brush with lacquer thinner to clean any residue.

Found this while doing some google searching and thought I had to share what I found today. A lesson from the books on how to make your lower receiver just a little bit lighter...

Savage has always been decent to work with.

Back to the 308 platform and have a couple questions
mrraley replied to dubya's topic in Building a .308AR
Ok... knowing that, I can only come up with two ideas to try and figure it out. 1. try another stripped bolt to see if that works with the gauges properly. (if it does, great you have a winner... if not) 2. your barrel was not reamed properly and you will need to send it back. -

mrraley replied to dubya's topic in Building a .308AR
You stated that you used .308 match gages... What is the barrel specifically chambered as... .308 or 7.62? The ammo that you marked and chambered with, are they... .308 or 7.62? -
PM sent, I'm in for 4.

Exactly this.... In case your not sure what this is or how to do it... ensure that your buttstock is in the collapsed position put one hand on the foregrip put one hand on the charging handle. (doing this you will accomplish two things) putting pressure on the charging handle release latch putting downward pressure on the charging handle itself strike buttstock on the floor, ground, or what ever you tend to be standing on at the time When hitting your buttstock on the floor try to make sure to hit it square on and not at an angle and break your buttstock. Then verify what your chamber is cut for and what your "laser" is molded for.

Lately, I have been receiving emails from a school house about taking their Armorers course. This place is called Sonoran Desert Institute located at 1555 W. University Dr., Ste. 103, Tempe, AZ 85281 So my questions are... Does anybody have any information on these guys and how it is? Is their accreditation worth anything?

Well that's a good drive from the QC area. East Moline.

Welcome to the forums and another from Illinois. There is a lot on here about the .308 / 7.62 rifles and lately quite a bit on the PA10's. Where about in Illinois are you located?

Was a decent portrayal from what I've read.
