Just got another nikon m-308 today...... ( Yes Tom..I had to put the nikon 8x32 on Char's new budget 6.8 ) but I stole that sucker from Cabellas.....price was 549....told the customer service man....every one is selling them for 449...your price is 100 too high...no problem sir we will match the 449.....so I said i got a Cabellas spring discount thingy,but its at home,and if one buys something between 400 and 500 you get 60 bills off....no problem sir..... so that made it 389...Cabellas rocks! The more paranoid amoung us look at the police actions of the last 3 or 4 years as nothing but a ploy to get as many on a register as possible so in the future they can be tracked down and have what happened in australia happen to us. Sounds plausible with the way things are going in the world. EXACTLY ! I misspoke bout my Aussie buddy.....he lives in the country....he is allowed a .22 rifle,but it must be broke down when not in use and stored in two different locations in his home with ammo in a third spot. He gets visited by police bout once a year to check on his 22.....crazy.....and no slingshots allowed.....super crazy thats HIS story anyhow :) Wash

Ive got one m-308 and buying another....awesome scope for the price point.....the substentions work with 168gr bullets.......it works with holdover out to 500yds....thats as far as my range is....I even use my prescription shooting glasses with it.....never have probs with eye relief.....ive been researching vortex HS and some other vortexes.....they seem from feed back/reviews to have eye relief probs :) Wash
