  2. Hi Flyfisherman With my reply ill be puttin on my flamesuit . I just bought another rock river nm match trigger for a total of four on my ar's....and the reason for buying another one is that I plunked down 200 bucks for a sse enhanced Geissele trigger a few months back for a mega ma10 build and guess what? The Geissele was a big letdown...I lined up all my ar's with the rock river triggers and the Geissele and no one could tell one spit of difference in the triggers in a blindfold test.....yes I talked with tech. and yes I did what tech said to do..and yes Mr.Geissele even talked with me....he admitted the rr's were comparable to his,but his would last a heck of a lot longer.....nice..... over twice as much for the same thing...all that ice/glass tube break in the Geissele hype ...I say hoooey! Pick up a rr for 80 bucks <munch> Wash
  3. Hiya! dont get either one...build yourself a Mega Ma10 with your choice of stock,barrel,rail,trigger....then ya got something! <munch> Wash
  4. H= ar 15 performance He IS the man! :) Wash
  5. Well if your H....I need your 308 platform and barrel system to go along with my 6.8's I got from ya <thumbsup>Wash
  6. SWEET! <thumbsup> Wash
  7. Hi Moose Ive got two mega's with identical rainier select 18" barrels. Im really pleased both shoot sub moa out to 500 yds . we shot steel 6" steel swingers this weekend at two and three hundred yards no problemo, but 6" at 200 aint sub moa...so take a look at range pictures in this forum and you can see the 100 yard paper target that is sub moa <thumbsup> Wash
  8. Hi Guys! ive been getting mine for 17.99 a box from palmetto state armory :) Wash
  9. Hiya Blue Welcome aboard <thumbsup> Wash
  10. Excellent choice....ive got three of em... <thumbsup> Dont freak out when you mount it....it will have slop when you push it on the barrel nut...but then you tighten the two lil bolts at bottom and it becomes rock solid....I had doubts at first about the two lil bolts.but theykeep the rail lined up perfect Wash
  11. Hi Jim ....Im partial to the troy extreme battlerails. They offer both the dpms high and dpms low heights. Jeff Morgan at Troy is the man to talk to over there. Pull up some of my posts and you will see what they look like on my builds <thumbsup> Wash
  12. No Kiddin! I hope the new world thing ..if it happens has got zombies...cause we are ready for em <laughs> Wash
  13. Come on in ! <thumbsup> Wash
  14. Welcome aboard ! the thing I would do....for each new upper /barrel I would get a new bolt for that particular caliber and use it in the carrier that you already have ...dont see why that shouldnt work <thumbsup> Wash
  15. Hey Jrmy and CHill I built a 308 using the mega ma10 upper/lower and then putting on a dpms sass 18" barrel.....do yourself a favor dont put the dpms sass on....its waay too heavy...it is a sub moa barrel for sure shoots a 6" disk at 500 yds...at 100 just makes one ragged hole in the bullseye...no complaints BUT the rifle is a heavy sob...you need a gunbearer to tote it for you......so i just built 308 #2 using the same everything but tossed the sass and got a rainier 18" select....both of these shoot sub moa. the rifles hardly weigh a pound more than my 6.8spc's My GF and myself can carry these with ease recoil is not bad either using a tubbs spring and a spikes h3 heavy buffer on hers <thumbsup> Wash
  16. Hiya Yeppers Nikon will get the job done! I was using spot on software, but got a smartphone (android) and downloaded "shooter"...its just like fte for the apple phones a true ballistic calculator for ten bucks....its awesome! <thumbsup> Wash
  17. Hey Skeeter! Way to go...nice piece! <thumbsup> Wash
  18. Hi Guys Im having trouble finding a suitable spotting scope for the 200/300 yard line at the range. I bought a konus 20x60x80 from Midway cause it had such rave reviews....our scopes on the 308's are better, you couldnt see 308 holes at 200...so sent it back...so now what guys? Yes I do know you can spend a bunch on these spotters, but geez there should be one out there that wont break the bank say maybe 300/400 bucks? all we wanna see is the 308 holes <dontknow> Wash
  19. Hi Sorry, no its got a new home :) Wash
  20. Very Nice! <thumbsup> Wash
  21. Whoooo Hoooo ! <thumbsup>
  22. KEWL! <thumbsup> Wash
  23. Thanks Youngblood! Im using the troy extreme ..its the 13.8 which of course covers the gas block....the "high troy" dpms fits the mega ma10. The best contact at troy is Jeff Morgan....he knows his stuff on fitment issues for the 308 <thumbsup> Wash
  24. Wow! you wont believe this....went shooting taking both of the 308's...so come home take em apart to clean and when I pulled the bcg out of one of em I felt something hit my barefoot....looked down and saw the pin...looked at the bcg I was holding...no pin...lol geez these things are in there loose...not like the ol cotter pin <thumbsup> Wash
  25. Im using the ssa enhanced in one of my 308 mega builds....save your money.....its no better than my rr nm triggers....the candy cane ice type break that they tout is gibberish in a blindfold test against 3 of my ar's with rr triggers no one could tell the difference <dontknow> Wash
