  1. Is this for a ballistic calculator or something? I generally just eyeball it with a measuring tape. Half way through the barrel to halfway through the scope tube. Should be plenty close. If you are trying to measure for a specific scope mount, I usually mock up spacers with cardboard or something to make sure my measurements translate over to real world usage.
  2. Don't really understand why a 2stage would have any different functionality than a single stage? All the 2-stagy-ness happens when the bolt is already closed.
  3. Lol. Too Long Didn't Read.
  4. TLDR, So do we have a consensus? PA10 yea or nay? Cliffs notes people, just give me one sentence. A Venn diagram would be acceptable
  5. This
  6. I'm still amazed people are jailed over a plant whose benefits far outweigh any harm it does.
  7. I'd get behind the gun and try it at max and min magnification before I moved the scope in the mount. Might be fine where it's at.
  8. @CindersShould be good to go. The levers are on the left side so the mount is oriented correct, but honestly it probably wouldn't make a difference since it's not a cantilevered mount. Just make sure it's torqued down on the rail. My ADM mounts are all set up so they take a fair bit of force to lock down and are somewhat of a pain to remove. I'd say go shoot it and see if it's fixed. I'd also say I have a tendency to make a similar 3/2 shot group and I'm pretty sure it's me but Ive seen people suggest the barrel is warming up on the last two. Also, instead of quoting, you can plug in someone's user name after the @ symbol to tag them.
  9. I watched a video where younger people in china have never heard of the Tiananmen square tank guy. They watch the video and swear it must be Russia or somewhere else.
  10. New matrix was trash, as expected. Such a shame. The first movie was absolutely epic and will be in my top movies for life. The second two were weird and overly artsy and didnt really add to the original, but they were still dark and cool. The new one is junk. The story is stupid but tries to act like it's some deep revelation. Wokensons on the Internet will say that you "obviously don't get it" if you don't like it, but we get it. They tried to turn a deeply philosophical question Into a social issue and failed miserably. Some of the dialog sounds like huffpost got together to write the script. The red/blue pill allegory is now "just a binary illusion, you already know the choice inside." They even managed to make one of the hovercraft crew a gay guy who comments on Neos rugged new look "who wouldn't love I!" Every woke revision of a classic falls on its ass, and you think that would send a message, but it doesn't. They are determined to forcefeed us this crap even if they hemorrhage money in the process.
  11. So the piece of 2x4 we used to beat the bolt open every shot wasn't factory?
  12. It was honestly impressive. Even with the gratuitous swiss cheesing, it was still fast and precise. If the desert and mountain dwellers we have been at war with for 30 years learned how to fight from PR street thugs, we'd be in trouble.
  13. Bet those were either amazon special Glock auto sear conversions, or straight up home 3D printed. Gotta find me those plans to download. The good old days lol https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2017/09/14/want-to-make-your-glock-full-auto/amp/
  14. Probably safe to assume it's not his first rodeo. Why he was smart enough to find actual cover instead of lobbing 9mm in the general direction of the threat from behind some glass and sheet metal.
  15. On the up side....I'm sure the dead guys deserved it.
  16. If you haven't seen this yet....pretty sketchy!
  17. Generally speaking you shouldn't bridge the gap with the mount. You want a solid platform for your optic. Very few handguards have zero movement relative to the upper.
  18. Lol. I enjoyed this. Did some work on my 308 and I plan to test run in the morning. If all goes well, I might throw my BFSIII in there and see how it runs. I'll let you know! Who wouldn't want a 168gr bullet hose? When your front door ring camera catches them alphabet bois stacked and ready to breach on that that no-knock, you need that extra projectile weight to punch through the wall reliably.
  19. It just so happens I have a Franklin sitting right here and I'm pretty curious if it will run in my 308. We can compare notes lol.
  20. Thought this one was over before it started, but a year later an activist DA wants to make a name for himself. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/army-sergeant-indicted-murder-self-defense-blm-riot-police
  21. Any reliable plastic gun would do....
  22. He lost me at 1911 😉
  23. Trump announced Saturday that he had agreements for a $BILLION investment from various private entities. Lots of noise on this one. DWAC Just might get another big pump tomorrow. Rumble just announced its going public through CFVI. if DWAC jumps tomorrow, this will jump with it. Even if DWAC doesn't jump, this will probably move up. Wish I had some money to throw around. Might try for a few shares at open.
  24. This should be common sense, instead it's cheered as a victory. It's a poor commentary on where we are that this even saw a courtroom.
