Another Orwellian slang appropriation there. Trace the term WOKE back and it use to be a good thing. The original woke were minorities who realized that the government was further enslaving them with free poop and welfare, and getting rich bringing in the dope that the ghetto was addicted to while simultaneously using them for more votes. WOKE people were Candace and hodgetwins. Somewhere along the way that was corrupted into the blue haired college girl with preferred pronouns screaming about capitalism drinking $9 coffee and filming in on her $1200 iPhone. Maybe call it the Anthropology of Modern Voluntary Enslavement Sometimes I'm more interested in watching the process than the current manifestation. The current thing will change and mutate, and people will forget how the current thing is different from how that thing was a few years ago. What's important is the process of that change. How did it start. How did it propagate. Watching EQUALITY slowly turn into EQUITY the past few years has been interesting, and I have a feeling it ties into WOKE. I think it's an attempt to get people back on the plantation. Woke black people were very dangerous to those in power. It was turning into a movement. It was getting "COOL" to be woke. It was finding it's way into black music and culture...and all of the sudden suburban white kids are all woke. And then transgender people are all woke and cancelling Hollywood movies. And then coca-cola has a commercial telling people to stay woke, and it has become a joke, and all those minorities who were beginning to deprogram and educate and wake up, fall right back asleep. Post a foil hat meme if you want, but they are in every aspect of our lives. Tiny tweaks here and there to achieve the desired outcome over decades. They are masters and we underestimate them. This goes back to so many of our recent arguments on this board. This is how the "Arab springs" started around the world. This is how the Ukraine civil war started. All these things are not accidents.

Let's not forget the ATF ran guns to their preferred cartel for years and pretended it was some sort of "tracking" operation when they finally got caught.

That @98Z5V guy built one gun (with help from this board) and now he thinks he's an expert. Glad someone with some build experience is finally here to help get these guns running. I didn't realize lube was such an important element on this platform. Good to know.

That height over bore has got to cause some serious parallax issues outside of your zero dustance!

Something always buggs me about illum switch mounted behind the knobs. I like it on the parallax knob much better. Cool little setup. One of these days I'll join the modern world and upgrade all these 3-9x scopes I have.

I have one. To be honest, the gun behaves the same with a KAK+Springco orange as it does with a standard DPMS buffer and spring. I was swapping them back and forth and I honestly didn't notice a difference. Brass pretty much ejected to the same spot. Recoil impulse felt the same. I think I ended up keeping the KAK/orange in the gun just because it's "better" and I already paid for it, but it wasn't a necessary upgrade at all. If your gun is running, I'd say don't waste the money. If your gun ISNT running, I'd say the buffer probably isn't the fix you are looking for. This was on a 16" carbine with a nasty comp on it. YMMV.

Season 4 of Westworld was meh. They tried way too hard to be deep. Never captured the awesomeness of season one again.

What a crappy way to go, after all the work to get to that point.

@MtnMike Objective is 42mm but OD measures out closer to 43 (if you are really cutting it close, remember to measure the OD since the manufacturer number may be the size of the lens and not the actual housing) that gun is using PRI rings. I have another gun with an almost identical setup (middle gun in below picture) but the OD of that 42mm scope is slightly larger so I'm using an ADM bolt action low mount(forget the exact model, but they have all the measurements on their site) The bottom pic here is my grendel with a 56mm obj and I needed it as low as possible to be a comfortable height with the raised top rail. I spent forever researching bore height of every mount manufacturer I could find but everything was either too low and likely to contact, or too tall. I ended up buying a taller ADM bolt gun mount, but it was about 1mm too low. I swapped to 34mm rings and then using 34 to 30 mm reducers and it raised the scope 2mm and worked out perfect.

Weak if you can still see light between the rail and objective. Step your game up boys 😄

Are you asking how to remove the stock? There is a little hole in the detent. You can see it if you loosen the friction lock. Squeeze the adjusting lever and then use a little screw driver or Alan key in that hole in the detent to pull it out a little further than the lever allows, and it slides right off. ACS is probably my favorite Magpul stock. Had one for a while and liked it.

Hell yeah! That needs to come back badly! My Pathfinder is just sitting around doing nothing. I'd love to gut that thing and solid axle swap the front. Turn it into a toy.
