Cheesy or sweet? Been on a trade frenzy lately. Picked up a tango down bipod that I had no use for because it was heavy in my favor. Didn't really fit with any of my bipod guns so I threw it on my old warhorse carbine just to see.....and it's kinda cool. I have hated vert grips in the past, but this bipod requires one. Adds some weight but drops the balance center of the gun and makes it handle nice. Still not sure if I'll keep it. I love Lego guns. I also picked up the EMOD stock in a trade. I was planning on trying to trade it for SOPMOD , but it think it looks pretty good on there. Might be a keeper. UPDATE..Tacticool mall ninja tendencies only lasted a week. Got rid of bipod and silly vert grip, and swapped heavy EMOD for a nice light OG modstock. I feel much better now.

He ended up getting a pretty good deal on some discontinued colt. It was a display model or something. Nice little 18" SPRish gun. He already loads .223 and has a couple nice .223 bolt guns so that was his main reason for sticking with it. He's happy so far.

It's amusing to me that we have a bunch of armored trucks that happen to weigh 25999 lbs. Pretty convenient when the CDL cutoff is 26k. Odd the trucks weigh the exact same even though some are clearly larger than others.

I grabbed a vg6 gamma for one of my ARs recently but Havnt had a chance to shoot it. Main thing I don't like about the miculek is the jam nut. Leaves a gap and looks ugly.

RRA really did their own thing with the 308s....but you can always give it a go for the betterment of the community!

The more recent production M2s didn't ship with dust covers. The earlier ones and the M3s do.

Some of these guns are picky about ammo weight. Light ones might suck, but then you move up to 168 or 175 and it tightens right up. Also had a guy in here with a very high end build who was disappointed with his groups. It was his first 308ar and after a few range sessions he became more comfortable with the gun and realized he was the problem, not the rifle. Keep banging. try different ammo. You will find the sweet spot

Makes me wonder if the ruger piston gun has a carrier that is shaped different in that area.

Jt...I used a standard FA I pulled from an A2 upper and the pawl was still too long with a factory DPMS bcg. It would close fine, but then the carrier would catch on it and it wouldn't open. I didn't want to order anything so I just took the FA apart and reinstalled it without the pawl. Looks fine but doesn't do anything.

Yup. Same here. Doesn't fall through built its not tight at all.
