I'm sure there's a bunch of places doing free shipping today. probably your best bet since shipping will cost 1/3 the price of the tube. I read a review when you first posted this that described the same problem. that guy emailed mako and they sent him an "updated" stock that fit better. SS..it's advertised to fit either. that automatically made me skeptical from the start, but there's a few stocks that pull it off. this may not be one of them.

I saw a place selling the noveske version for $140. lol. that's a pretty expensive logo! I'm on email alerts at all the big places, but for the $5 I might save waiting, I'll just order now.

Paul Chen/Hanwei forge Ninjato. these swords are near the bottom of the "real" sword food chain. forged 1095 carbon steel. designed to be used as opposed to just hung on a wall. I'm not really a sword guy, but I got it on the hustle and it's pretty cool. very sharp as is, and can no doubt shave hairs with some work. actually has a real temper line, not the little wavy etching wall hangers get. time to go open carry at target..

to clarify the handguard question...are you referring to a magpul handguard? they require a non floated setup and length is determined by your gas system. more details about your rifle will help us answer your questions. there are several variations.
