    you will get the lower one unless it has been sitting on a shelf in the warehouse for 5 years. the lower profile is the new DPMS standard. has the same height over bore as a standard AR15, so setting up irons will be much easier.

    sorry, try this. these are the 2 versions of the A3 height. I'm guessing yours is closer to 1/2" at that spot.

    I'm sure I'm on several lists, but the only firearms I've ever signed for are a long gone ruger back in 01, and a M44. I don't shop at gun stores!

    my thoughts on SBR are that it's not currently worth being on that list. if there's ever a true SHTF, than I won't be worrying about paperwork or alphabet agencies, and I'll plop that pistol upper on any lower I want.

    if it says A3, it's going to be a standard height receiver. to clarify...it will be the new DPMS height, also known as the low DPMS height. any front sights or gas blocks designed to match a standard AR15 will match this rcvr. the light weight one looks to be pretty close to a standard piece, with some metal milled off of it.
