Obama SAID he supports a AWB. Romney has proven....through action....that he supports a AWB. Obama doesnt have a very good track record of getting anything done. Ill take 4 more years of stalemate over the damage Romney may do. However...my feelings about those two pieces of excriment really dont matter as neither one will get my vote. I will be disappointed either way this year....but just maybe...enough fed up people will vote for a worthwhile cantidate to make the news ticker.....and 4 years from now when the dems and repubs field 2 more piles of excriment...a few more fed up people will "waste" a vote...and in 4 more years people might finally start getting a clue. Maybe...but probably not. Welcome to Rome.

im not on the fence and im not for romney. I will go out and "waste" my vote on a third party this year. Its only a 2 party system because they have convinced us it is. I decided i will never again vote for the lesser evil. I will vote for the guy i think will do the best job....and if nobody can field a decent cantidate ill just opt out. If the GOP cant find someone better than obama...than maybe they deserve to loose. I will have no part of eithe one of those worthless pieces of crap being in charge.

I have that same furniture setup on my 5.56 gun. If you find a need for an aditional rail section the PRI rails are contured for a 2" tube and fit pretty well. Hows the cheek weld with that raised upper and what ring height are you using?

Been working 60/70 hrs a week lately. Most has gone to grown up stuff but ive managed to squirrel away a little here and there and I think I have enough to build the rifle I want. Planned on using the rainier upper w/o fwd assist. Want an 18" gun and found the dpms mk12 barrels pretty cheap. Top it off with a 15" hand guard. While lookin at parts I found this http://www.stagarms.com/product_info.php?cPath=13_44&products_id=403 I found it for 699 shipped. It is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I did some math and it looks like it would cost me more to build it than buy it. Opinions from the gurus?

Buddy of mine is going on his first hunt next week. I offered to loan him my FN 308 bolt gun...but he wanted to be cool and took my AR with 24" bull, PRS, and heavy glass. I told him have fun lol.

ive heard of much worse CS stories. I might be annoyed but certainly wouldnt be writing them off. Im sure the initial time estimate is the generic number they throw out to everyone. With the volume of rifles they ship I cant imagine what a mess the repair dept must be.
